The worst freight company I've ever worked with! My company is working with them as a third party carrier through XPO, and they've now missed a vital, pallet pick up THREE WEEKS in a row. First, it was "Oops, we missed it". Then the next week it was "oh our system updated so we lost the shipment". Then this week, DESPITE TWO FOLLOW UP CALLS from XPO, they missed the shipment both on the Thursday and today, Friday as promised because the "driver forgot the paperwork". Super unprofessional promising multiple pickups each week and not following through. Honestly, I'm in awe they think that this is "service"
Been using these guys for years and they've always been fair and treated me well. I rarely have any issue with delivery time or cost. They're very consistent with how long they take to do things. Every now and then something gets damaged but that's shipping for you. None are perfect but as long as I've been dealing with Corlett they've worked hard to accommodate my needs.
We have never had any issue with either inbound or outbound shipments with Corlett. Everyone in the office I have talked to, from dispatch to billing to our rep have been absolutely fantastic to deal with! The best company to ship with in Utah!
If I could give no stars I would. We have been forced to deal with Corlett many times over the years and we have never had a good experience. Shipments are always late and damaged and drivers are rude and inconsiderate. The drivers will do anything to get out of having to mark freight bills as damaged. We have a shipment that is sitting on their dock right now and has been there since early last Thursday and they will not deliver it until this Tuesday. That's four days and a weekend to deliver 90 miles.
