The call center staffs didnt know what theyre doing. Im interested in taking a class there as I want to find something to do while waiting for my Green Card. They constantly gave me some information I didnt ask and didnt even let me finish saying. Then they told me to visit the office and ask for enroll requirements as its a very list. WHAT WAS THE POINT I CALLED YOU THEN!?//smh Telling me like the office was in front of my house. No wonder why theres a ton of complaints here.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the worst college I have ever taken a course at. Everything gradually got worse and my instructor started failing me even though I turned in assignments on time and completed I would receive a 0 for plagiarism. The instructor told me I could cite the lab manual/textbook if I felt I needed to and if I was paraphrasing I did not need to, which I was doing but still received 0s. The instructor also claimed since the information was also on quizlet it must be where I got my information from and plagiarizing, which is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard from an instructor. Their staff is incompetent and I hope no other student has to go through this mess. I was taking BIO 205 online this summer to make my semester lighter in the fall but that is not happening now due to this horrible school. They took my money and will not refund me, despite not receiving anything a college is supposed to provide for a student, such as instruction from an instructor. I have reached out to many higher ups such as the dean of student affairs, dean of academic affairs, biology chair, and even the President and Vice President who have been no help in this problem. This school is a business and has showed me they do not genuinely care about the education and experience their students are receiving and only care about the money. This whole experience has been a nightmare and I highly recommend to stay as far away from this school as you can. To update my review: after hassling the school all summer, the Vice President of student affairs, Greg Pereira, reached out to me and personally helped me with my case. I only am giving Rio Salado more stars than before due to his accommodations.
Dear Rubi, we appreciate your comments and we're glad to be of service!

This place is amazing, i sat down with an advisor (Jennifer) and she taught me so much about how the system works regarding classes, i didnt even know i can apply one class as credit for multiple criterias needed for transitioning to a university! I dont think people really take the time to sit down and navigate how everything works beforehand and thats how they set themselves up for failure but not me i wish i knew about Rio Salado years ago!
As a single parent trying to get an education Rio Salado made it easy. I wouldn't have a degree if it was for Rio Salado's type scheduling of classes. Now my daughter is going there. So proud that we are both members of Phi Theta Kappa.
I appreciated the dual enrollemnt program. I even likes the one class I took in person on campus. I did not, however have a positive experience with an online class. I strongly encourage people NOT to take online classes through Rio Salado.
