Disappointed today. Bought a gas cooker. Had removed the old one, decorated and was having a floor laid so had arranged the cooker to be delivered and fitted the next day. Sadly there was a problem with the floor so we rang Geoff Hill the day before the scheduled delivery to give them a heads up and ask that the cooker be delivered as late as possible (we had an afternoon appointment anyway). They said it would be after 3pm. On the day of delivery we had a call to say that the gas fitter finished for the day at 3pm. We were expected to pay 70 over and above the purchase price to have it installed but they would only work till 3pm! So the cooker arrived at 3.45 on Friday afternoon and we have had to find another Corgi registered fitter to connect it but will have to wait till Monday! Gutted! Very poor service!
