First time here and unfortunately as we were wrapping up dinner and drinks a huge rat ran above us in the exposed ceiling rafters. Our poor waitress saw it as well and screamed in disbelief. She called a gentleman over who I believe is the manager and pointed it out scurrying across the metal beams towards the kitchen. This man said it has been here several days and they are working on catching it. Appalling. Worst is that they then brought out full bills and had the audacity to say well take care of it before your next visit nah, theres probably no next for me. Food was fair - for example bacon dates were delicious while the tacos were lacking in seasoning. Prices are moderate, I think a round of drinks and about 7 small plates was around $200 for 4 people. Drinks are delicious. Go at your own discretion.
Dear Tony I am sorry that you did not have a good experience last night at Riverside and have spoken to all involved. I wish that you would have expressed yourself to management while you were here so that we could have the opportunity to try to address it at that time. Unfortunately, you had left as management was coming to your table to help. As with any business, we would rather address a customer complaint directly and in person. Should you wish to come back, we'd like to have the opportunity to serve you better. The menu has changed to better highlight the talents of our new chef and I am sorry if you we told otherwise. Also, our menu changes about 4 times per year to accommodate seasonal foods. Our wines by the glass also change often and range from $5 - $12 per glass and are listed on the back of the menu. I went into Riverside Liquors tonight to have dinner my experience was not good at all I found out the menu has changed because of covid-19. they have increase their house wines to $12 a glass I was not informed of that and I even asked not very happy with the experience I will not return and I will inform all my friends that we used to come there for many years not to return to this place
