We spoke and informed you there was a scheduling issue between us. We had you down for the same day one week later for a free estimate. We spoke and came out to see you that same day and provided you with a free estimate and hope to do business with you.

Did not show up for estimate appointment or call to advise a reschedule. No call no show. Edit. I just want to note while the below response from is accurate, we did not get a call back until after the negative review was posted. Appointment was Monday, review was posted Tuesday, received a call back Wednesday. I work in logistics and can attest to scheduling mistakes, which I have made in the past. My frustration was the lack of a proactive courtesy call prior or on the day of the appointment. I will review your estimate and will contact you if we decide to go that route, thank you Rick.

Monika We do want to apologize for our clerical error in scheduling. Our appointment for an estimate was set for a Saturday morning. When the appointment was booked in our system it was entered as the following Saturday. It was a simple mistake made in our office by the click of a mouse. We do not hold office hours on Saturdays and do not have office staff answering our phone calls on Saturdays so when you contacted our office trying to ask for appointment status there was no answer. Had this been a Monday - Friday appointment we could have resolved the issue instantly. Again we made a mistake when entering the appointment and entered the incorrect date. We did not realize this clerical error until the following Monday morning. At that time we tried to contact you, left a message and explained the problem, apologize for our mistake and asked when we could make it up and come see you at your convenience. We tried to reach out again and did not hear back from you. We do many estimates every week and respect our potential clients time and rarely have an issue making our appointments for free estimates on time and efficiently returning the proper information and estimates to our customers. BEWARE!! Had an appointment for an estimate that I spoke to company about twice earlier in the week. I explained that this estimate needed to be done by today as we were in very tight time crunch to get the fix done before our closing. The woman stated rick would be there between 10-11. We sat in a vacant house for over 2 hours no phone call no contact whatsoever and he never showed up! It is now 4pm and we still have had no call. Totally wasted our Saturday afternoon. As a daughter of a general contractor I am appalled at the lack of professionalism or respecting a clients time. Find another contractor so you are not disappointed! If this is how they treat a customer trying to get a job just imagine once they have your money! Zero respect for the customer even after promising to be there and claiming to understand d the urgency of the job needing to be done. Wish I had read other reviews before trusting them!. BEWARE

Rick assessed the problem with my son's severely shifting/sinking brick 2-car attached garage that was added on by the previous owner. He explained why the garage's corners were sinking. His quote for 9 push piers came in $5k to $30k less than other firms. Besides stabilizing the garage, they were able to lift the corners back up to level and the walls to be plumb. The workers were courteous and tidy. I highly recommend United Structural Systems of Illinois. After the work was performed, we were relieved that the garage was stabilized.
