Room is cold. Preset maximum heat setting. Sensor to turn heat down when you are out or asleep. House keeping is poor .Toilet paper not replenished, so was totally out when we returned to the room in the afternoon. Stayed 7 days,bed was not made once. Not hoovered either

Great place nice and tidy. The lady at reception was great left my phone charger at home! She managed to find one that fitted my phone for me so I didn't have to go buy a new one. Great service would come again

Arrived at the hotel, small foyer and looked in need of a good face-lift inside. Reception had one member of staff and were working through multiple of attendees that arrived at the same time. Happy staff member. On getting my keys, I proceeded to my room, carpets faded around the doors where worn, not very welcoming and a musty smell. I do though have a very sensitive sense of smell. The room was OK, but very hot. Drinks in the room were OK but the instant coffee on drinking felt powdery and did not leave a pleasant feeling in the mouth. This is room only which I found out on arrival. To eat or drink, it is the motorway services whsmiths or burger King and you get 20% off. Not really a substantial meal for the evening or breakfast. We traveled to the local pub for evening meal and used a back service road which reduced travel by 10 miles, they did great food. For breakfast, we went to the brewers fayre in Cannock. Facilities at the hotel very basic and is certainly not on par with other travel lodges in presentation or upkeep.The bed though was firmand the shower was powerful and hot. Good room cleanliness.
