Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We’re sorry for any inconvenience or frustration that you may have experienced during COVID-19. For safety, virtual services seemed to be best for most clients. Most home inspections and final walkthroughs where repairs were completed were handled with our partner home inspectors. A final walkthrough is not another home inspection. It is to verify that the agreed upon items during the home inspection contingency period were completed. Our records indicate that we viewed smaller newly renovated homes with new systems in 2021. But, you selected a larger non renovated home that needed repairs within your desired budget. During COVID-19, closings were handled directly with the title company. Most of clients preferred and enjoyed the convenience of closing safely with the title company anywhere at anytime. We do our best to keep records and your closing date and time from May 2021 is still on our calendar. House prices surged during COVID-19 and family gifts were needed by some clients. From our records, a family gift, a seller credit, a credit from my preferred title company and a credit from my preferred lender were all need to complete your closing. After your closing, we communicated with you, the home inspector, the listing agent and the home warranty companies multiple times to resolve any of your concerns and issues because we value our customers and keep an open line of communication to assist our clients 1 day or 3 years after closing. We’re continuously working to improve our service, and we’ll consider your feedback to ensure we provide the best possible experience.

I was very disappointed in my experience with Ericka. As a first time homebuyer, I did not feel supported in the process. I felt like she was rushing the whole process without listening to my needs or wants. In one instance, she sent me houses that were out of my budget. When I asked her why, she advised me to use my family contacts for financial help. Huh?! I used her referrals for both inspection and lender, and had issues with honestly and integrity with both contacts. To make matters worse, Ericka did not even know the day I had to close. She seemed surprised when I asked her if she would be joining me at the signing, which was the most frustrating part of the whole process. Upon moving in to my new home, we had a lot of issues that could have been addressed in the final walk-through. When I spoke with her, she told me that she never does final walk-throughs with clients. When I talked to a few friends that had gone through the home buying process, they all said they did a final walk through with their realtors. Lastly, there was no other follow up from Ericka. No thank you, no parting gift, nothing. I learned the hard way. All in all, please make sure you do a proper interview with all your real estate professionals. It will save you a lot of stress in the end.
