Monica - We are sorry that you are frustrated with the shipping costs. Certainly we want all of our customers to have a positive experience. Candy boxes ship at an inflated weight called dimensional weight because while they are light items, they ship as fully constructed boxes and cannot be packed flat. That makes the case very large in relation to the weight, and FedEx uses a calculation based on the dimensions of the package to determine the 'dimensional weight' that the charges are calculated on. Shipping to a Residential Address adds $4.35 per package to this order - which adds $17.40 total. Location incurs an "Extended Residential" surcharge - added by FedEx for 'very rural areas.' - which adds $23.60. In total, simply due to a destination that incurs residential and rural surcharges - FedEx adds $41 or almost a 40% increase over initial shipping costs. We often see customers express "surprise" related to shipping, mainly because the products have a low price-to-weight ratio compared to most other products consumers are familiar with. They want to charge 143 dollars for shipping for 208 dollars of product. "They are sorry" is there response to an inquiry. Light weight boxes ,empty, for chocolate. Candy pads and inserts. In other words, not heavy. .And they send robot emails asking what happened to your order. They only use FedEx. I have had multiple FedEx orders,from good companies, in the past, Weighing ten times more. For a fraction of what these Goof balls want to charge.

My boxes came wrapped right and inside a box that was opened at each end. Because it was on its side the boxes shift and one of the packs has the corners bent and crumpled so not looking too good. The rest were okay. Sad because this was our first time as a bakery ordering pie boxes from your company and we like the look of the ones that werent damaged. I will contact someone from the company this week about the issue.

We're so sorry to hear that these did not arrive on time. It looks like this order was received into our system on Thursday and shipped the same day, arriving the following Monday. While FedEx is currently not guaranteeing any delivery times, this order appears to be within the normal timeframe.
