Decent merchandise, quality-control problems, large bueaucracy, and tone-deaf customer support. I've ordered about 8 products from them, and there have been problems with about half of them. Four of these products were shipped in sizes smaller than ordered. One product was shipped with signature required during the pandemic, which even the post office doesn't normally do these days. And dealing with customer support is simply slow and frustrating. I will definitely be looking to other vendors in the future.

Received my order from Fire Mountain Gems and Beads today and they screwed it up again. They screw it up with every other order. I used to order thousands of dollars worth of supplies from them, but grew sick with their attitude and turned to alternative suppliers, such as Rio Grande Jewelry Making Supplies. I do not appreciate companies that waste my time. Time is a non-refundable commodity. Every time they screw up, they try to make it look like it was somehow my fault, a typical corporate crap we all try to avoid so much. Sure you might have color blind people who can't tell black from green, although why would you keep them in your warehouse? But not to be able to tell a round from a teardrop?.. Would be funny if it weren't so sad. I think it's a clear sign that I should never order from them again.

Lightning fast shipping! Quick and easy customer service. I made an error on an order before bed, and I sent an email, and by the time I woke up the, the problem had been fixed and my order had been shipped. My client loved the variety and quality of beads I was able to offer her on a custom swarovski project using Firemountain as my supplier.

Fire Mountain Gems and beads used to be amazing. USED TO HAVE great prices, selection, customer service, shipping prices..... They used to be my main source for materials and supplies for my business. These days HOWEVER, the prices are too high, the quality is horrible, the shipping expensive for large orders, and the most unforgiveable: the beads they send seldom resemble what the webstore picture looks like anymore. I gave them one last chance this past week and ordered some beads that I found through a google search, the beads that arrived looked nothing like the webstore picture. I dont know why I was surprised.... I was one of their platinum customers back in the day for many years, now I'll never order from them again.
