We run a very busy print shop and we are disappointed that we couldn't help this person. A very simple job, costing only a few pounds, became so protracted and unpleasant that I decided to end things even though no payment had been made. We won't print anything unless we are confident of the final quality. Things came to a head during a 15 minutes phone call. She was quite confrontational towards at a member of staff so I intervened on the phone call. I have a duty of care to my employees and after a few minutes of her continuing to be confrontational I politely advised her that I am going to end the call.

Untruthful Reply!!!! Protracted and unpleasant? I had NEVER spoken to either the owner or staff member before. Communication had previously been with my lovely, very mild mannered husband. I was not confrontational but very disappointed as after being told to come down to the shop to get my order (that would take just 5 mins to print off) I then received a phone call to say they decided I wouldn't be happy with the end product so wouldn't print off my order - very strange statement! Not sure why they are not confident in their own work? Who wouldn't be hacked off at such poor service? This call was the "15 min" phone call referred to in reply - I was pleading not to be let down as it was a wedding gift I needed that day. Duty of care to your employees? You did not intervene - I asked to speak to you following your employee advising me that you wouldn't let him do the job. You got your employee to contact me to cancel a job then only spoke to me at my request - your version of events are totally fabricated for the purposes Google reviews. I asked to speak to you! I did get my prints via another printers in Kilmarnock who were lovely, gave excellent advice and were not all surprised at the sutuation I found myself in because off your poor service - that spoke volumes to me. You have the right not to take on work but to ask me to come and collect a job then renege on that commitment, hide behind your employee and lie about actual events that occurred shows the measure of your professionalism. I chose to use this company to print two A4 personalised prints I made for my sister wedding gift. After sending the original files, then resending the files per their request (with adjustments required) and waiting until they could view them due to a server issued they had, I confirmed I would go in to collect my prints which I was advised would be done in the shop and would take 5 mins (this was day four of arranging the prints). Shortly after I would go in that day to collect my prints I got a phone call to be told that they didn't think they should print my gift as they couldn't be sure I would be happy with it? I asked them why what they would print would be any different from anyone else and they confirmed it wouldn't be but said I gave them the impression I wouldn't like what they did? The owner Stewart finally spoke to me and told be that the phone call had gone on for too long and that they had spent too much time taking to me about this (I had never spoken to this man before and our conversation was less than two minutes before he hung up! - he did tell me he was going to hang up so I suppose the thought that made it ok?). Understanding I would not have a very special and personalised gift for my sister he said I would need to find someone else and that he had deleted the file so couldn't do it not anyway. They did this simply because I was asking them some questions about the quality, colour, end product results that I had every right to do and assumed that they would have been able to answer as professional printers? Questioning what It would turn out like gave them the impression I wouldn't be happy with what they would do so they just weren't going to bother doing it and told me this the same morning I was to collect the gift! I was not rude in anyway but was clear that it had to be good as it was a very special gift after all, I wanted it to be right - even knowing that them letting me down would result in a wedding gift not being given to my sister still did not persuade them to do what they had previously advised they would! They will happily let you down if they feel like it! Use someone else for printing to avoid disappointment and unprofessional service. I leave for my sisters wedding tomorrow morning with no special gift! Do Not Use This Company!!
