The facts presented here are not accurate. The client did not respond to numerous requests for information beginning early January through late March 2018. A significant amount of time was spent trying to provide valuable services to the client, including a 2-hour initial meeting and many more hours reviewing his financial information and tax prep. The Accounting Office, Inc. had to terminate its relationship with this client for many reasons, including non-payment. We provide services to hundreds of satisfied small business clients saving them time, money, and the constant headaches of running the accounting and tax side of a small business.

This place took money from me and performed no services, did no reports and did not do my taxes. They said they have emails trying to correspond with me, which I have asked for, cause I didn't see them. Now they call me and want $230 for tax prep. Watch out for this one!

We would be delighted to discuss your concerns further given this review was conducted over a half a year after you left. As all of our clients know, we return our calls and emails immediately and always within 24 hours, and commit to this in our services agreement. Also tax planning was performed throughout the year and monthly financial packages are sent timely to all clients assuming the required source documents from the clients are received timely, In addition, year-end and future-year planning is conducted with all clients October-December. Several solicitations (emails, calls) are sent to each client to set dates for this important meeting.

I can't say I had the worst experience with this firm while I was with them, I do think for the most part the service was ok. The things I will say stem around lack of receiving calls back when I had reached out to speak with someone. As well as having issues trying to cancel the services provided by them, which I was actually charged for after I had cancelled because I was trying to get them to finish my last few months of 2018 financial statements (which I had paid in advance for and was never completed. Luckily, I did speak with the owner and they promised me a refund of the overcharge and one month, but I did have to call back over a month later because the monies had still not been received). Additionally, I never really received the tax planning and end of year appointments as promised, interesting enough I don't remember anyone reaching out to my last year to make and appointment to make sure I was prepared for what tax liability was potentially due. I personally feel that having a great accountant as a small business owner is one of the absolutely musts. Since I can't personally afford a team of people and lets face it taxes and reform can be difficult to keep up with. I don't think this place is bad for all its clients to be honest, I just look personally for a more collaborative team to work with to make sure I am doing things the right way.

They were good while working with them, but it was a nightmare when I switched accountants! I stopped working with them about 4 years ago and they are still going at it. I received (and still do) harassment, and they started sending bills to my house for work that was never asked for nor done. When I refused to pay for work that wasn't done, they sent it to the bill collector. I got it resolved. Four years later, I just received another debt collection for $130. They are crooks and I would be very leary of working with them at all costs.
