CONTACT LENSES & PRIVATE LABELS: THE PRESCRIPTION HUSTLE Let me tell you about the Vision Source and many other big chain eye doctors.My husband has been wearing Biofinity Toric by Coopervision for many years. After going to vision source and spending 3 hours at visit which should have only been no more than hour was a learning experience for both of us. My husband got a trial pair of his contacts that he has always worn ( so he thinks ). He would tell me how his eyes were always dry and the contacts would rip in three days. I found that odd as he has never had these problems. Maybe it was a bad batch. It happens. Well I ordered my contact on 1 800 contacts and he asked if i would do the same for him. When i got his script from vision source and called the online contact company they told me i needed to order exactly what was written on the script Aquaclear biofinity toric. I never heard of them. So i researched the the name and found its called private labeling. Another words its like Pantene and Walmart's equate brand. They will tell you its the same. Its Coopervision its the same thing. NO ITS NOT!!! DON'T BELIEVE IT. What pisses me off the most is that they don't even tell you. How they don't get in trouble with the las is ..... They make sure they put your normal name next to their brand label name. Not cool That is, a prescription is issued that can only be fulfilled in their office, nowhere else. I told them to write a new script the way it is supposed to be as this is unacceptable and i won't tolerate this. I also asked why a base curve was not put on his script? One would think that is important. The response was they are all the same. WHAT... I said... No they are not. every brand has different base curves as everyones eyes are not the same. Went this morning so grandson could get a check up..The staff was very nice and and understanding being that I had my g.daughters under the age of 5 also.The other side also were we picked out glasses was real nice and helpful with picking out what he wanted...

Get Disappointed with the staff every time I go but the doctors are very good It's been over a month I called 3 times a prescription Should have been sent over to my pharmacy that has never happened even after calling 3 times.
