I got 3 quotes and these guys hit back with the lowest price. They also offer delivery (for a modest fee) and allow for customer hand-unloading. The salesman (Daniel) was pleasant to talk to, which is a rarity in the steel industry. I did have to bug him a few times to get my order though, but it was no big deal. The delivery driver (Will) delivered my material and was also pleasant to talk to. I was prepared for the delivery: Blocked off a couple spots for parking and had my tools ready for unloading: Metal snips, gloves, safety glasses, hammer, and rag. I unloaded the QTY:8 4'x4' sheets of 10 gauge steel in about 10 minutes. A 4'x4' sheet of 10 Gauge steel is about the maximum I want to unload on my own (90lbs). I'm a fit mid-30's guy. Any heavier and I would have wanted someone to help. Metal supplier quotes vary wildly, like 2X wildly. (yikes). And they are typically painful because it feels like everyone wants to rip you off. "Do you have an account with us?" [checks computer to see max rip-off possible]. Luckily it didn't feel that way with C&L Metal Sales. I do have an LLC business, but I didn't get the feeling that was some huge discounted rate or a requirement. I think this would be a great metal supply shop for small guys. Get multiple quotes. Use these guys if the quote works for you, like it did for me. Happy I found 'em.

I will never go anywhere else. Outstanding metal shop! Cindy stoped what she was doing and spent over a hour with me showing me options and helping me make the best decision to build a small gate for my deck. She had me lay it out on the floor so I could see what the finished product would look like. Cut all my lengths to exact measurements and even helped me carry it out to my truck. She also gave me scrap metal of same thickness to practice my welds on. What I was going to be charged elsewhere for two pieces of the gate I was able to purchase all of the metal for my gate project at half the cost. Outstanding customer service and prices!
