I can't recomabded. My English is poor and they labeled me totally drunk becausedue to my poor English. And I felt ashamed. So for me, is this place unfriendly for foreigners

I can't make a reservation with my Canadian phone number. We are traveling to Scotland in September and want a reservation for Sept 15 @7pm but their reservation system doesn't accept our Canadian phone number. That's too bad. I heard it's the best pub in Scotland.

We stopped here for lunch while we were on a day trip to Edinburgh. Its a cosy little pub, the staff are so helpful and friendly. I had the Balmoral burger which has haggis in it, which I absolutely loved. My husband had the classic burger. Very good meal and very tasty. Well worth a visit.

Went an hour before closing hours for beer. Friend from Slovakia with sloppy english immediately labeled as "too drunk" despite being perfectly reasonable, and we were recommended to go to another pub. We just wanted to drink a beer, lads.
