I would give zero stars if I could. I understand that places are having trouble with staff recently, but this doesnt seem to be the case. We were seated at the bar for about 10 minutes before even being acknowledged by the bartender, she hands us menus. We figure out our drinks, 5 minutes goes by, 10 minutes, 15 and then 20. We are passed over for people ordering their second and third rounds, even people walking up to the bar for refills. This was my first experience at this restaurant, and will be my last. Left without any service at all. 0/5
I have to tell you that food quality and consistency are super important, but the servers really make the experience great. Ask for Olivia, Olympia, or Katie. These women are the best!
Second visit in a week; both delightful. The staff is terrific, period. Attentive, friendly, polite, just great. Menu is extensive. Enjoyed salmon and spicy pork bento boxes, tempura veggies small plate, kimchi sampler, Philadelphia sushi roll. Everything is delicious, fresh. The brussel sprouts, rock shrimp and meat dumpling in the bento-- yum! Only pass for us is the tempura calamari; cooked very well but we prefer the "rings," not tentacles. Highly recommend Omiza. Can't wait to go back to try more.
Either wear the mask or don't wear it but using it as a chin accessory doesn't work for me. The waitress said she was too busy running around to wear it on her face. The two chefs making the meals usually wore theirs on their chin also. This was at 2:00 in the afternoon with only a few tables filled. Our table was a bit in disarray when we sat down and the food was just okay as was the service. I think I'll stick with Ooka or drive over to Newtown.
