Matthew Kern, it is really sad that you have to go to the extent to post your lies about our store in a bad review because you didn't get your way. Jake, the store manager is always kind and courteous to all of our customers and goes out of his way to make sure everyone shopping at our store has the best experience. Jake called me right after your visit as he was extremely upset about your yelling and demanding. The product that you tried to return were thinsulate lined leather gloves that you had worn for the last couple of months. There were no tags or a receipt to go with them. You claimed that "the gloves did not keep your hands warm" and thats why you were returning them. This doesn't seem to fall under the category of "a product which had a feature it did not end up having". The gloves were thinsulate lined leather gloves when you bought them and continued to be thinsulate lined leather gloves as you continued to wear them for months after that. Unfortunately, our business cannot support customers that wear and use our products for months and then try to return them. We stand behind every product we sell and will continue to do so. We are not in the business of people trying to devalue our business due to their own fraudulent ways.

Genuine-ly dissapointing. The staff at this shop have yet to understand the value of quality customer service. On my first visit, I was convinced by a staff member that a product had a feature it did not end up having. On my second visit (to return the product that proved to be useless) I was rejected on an attempt to return or exchange in any way, even though the product was still in brand new condition with tags and a staff member had told me I could return it if I was unsatisfied. On top of all of that, the young, dark haired manager managed to be so rude in his interactions with me that I'll never set foot in this place again. If you're still not convinced, these folks carry products that are more geared towards being hip than functional. No thank you. Update: Owner responds to my review by, not only calling me a liar, but presenting a list of lies himself as a way to wiggle out of responsibility. I had the receipt, I wore the gloves literally once and returned them after 1 week of purchase with the receipt. They did not function as advertised. So add childish and brash owner to the list of reasons to not go here. Good business owners make an attempt to win customers back upon getting negative review, not berate them for being honest about having a bad experience.
It is really sad that you have have to write fraudulent reviews because your boyfriend Matthew Kern in the previous review was not able to return thinsulate gloves that he had worn for the last few months but claimed "did not keep his hands warm" and wanted to return them. We stand behind all of our products, but we cannot afford to have people wear items purchased for months and return them. It is clear in your supposed "review" that you were never in our store. Why would you buy items that you "didn't need and were useless?" Secondly, we only had one employee in the store. Extremely sad for you to have to post lies about a small business in the neighborhood.

"Hated it" is an understatement. The employees were incredibly unhelpful and rude. I was able to return the items that I bought from them (which were not what I needed/useless). But I will never be able to get the time I had wasted at this store back. Save yourself a lot of trouble and do not shop here.
The combination the honest and helpful service from the store attendant and their good taste in the selection of quality products make genuine motorworks one of my favorite motorcycle apparell shops. Keep up the good work!
