I visited the S. Gessener location twice today. Once to locate a specialty brush and then to return it as it was defective. As I looked through her collection of behind the counter brushes I asked her to "Please give Me a box that did not look the way that one did." As each box had some missing plastic box covering, bruised boxes, badly damaged boxes and one box that she placed to the side altogether. I was so happy to find the Blue brush that claimed to give Me 360 degree waves with continued use of this product. The woman even stated that "possibly UPS had damaged the boxes in delivering them." I suggested that "She email pictures of each of the damaged boxes to the company." " She said it was difficult to do and deal with the company as She had never spoken with them before on the phone only by email. Three hours later when I arrived home and showered leaving the three brushes I bought on counter. I opened the Blue brush and noticed a hairlinr fracture which continued to fissure. I immediately called the store and explained that the brush not just the package was damaged and asked her to look through the other several brushes for a brush that was not damaged. She said she would return money and that she had thousands of the brushes to go through so I wondered why She could not just exchange damaged brush for one if the "thousands" that wasn't faulty. Anyhow I arrived at shop and a man sat at the door looking angry and inviting. He was not there earlier in the day when I arrived. I spoke to him kindly as I did each time I spoke with the store owner. This man glared at Me and I quickly walked away from him towards the woman who did not greet Me. I again asked her if she had checked other brushes and she said "No, he said give Her back her money." I then looked at him and shook My head at Her. How disappointing. I left with no replacement Crown Quality Blue brush that claimed to be a suitable brush and the refunded cost of the item I yet needed and an angry man I yet had to pass to safely exit their store as no one else was in the store. I kept My sunglasses on as I passed him and felt angry as I left their store never to return again. I do not recommend this business to anyone. I had hoped to be able to post the pictures of the fractured brush and the damaged box but this review does not seem to allow pictures.
