If you are looking for your next realtor - Stephen Oswald is not that agent. This professional praises of having the highest standard of morals and values but destroyed a family as a home wrecker. Pick anyone but Stephen Oswald as your next agent.
My wife and I were very disappointed with the way Reagan Tomlinson handled our offer with her sellers. We viewed 21 W Clay St. and expressed through our realtor that we wanted to put in an offer. We met all of the sellers requirements which included rent back for almost 6 months. We came in above asking and waived inspection and appraisal contingency. We even offered a 6 figure earnest deposit. At first, Reagan raved about such a clean offer, but soon things got interesting. Another offer came in and we were more than willing to go above, but were never presented an amount that would be needed, even though our realtor asked repeatedly what number would satisfy your sellers. No number was given, instead we were told they no longer want the rent back and if we can provide our best offer. We included an escalation clause that went way above asking price and were told we would get a response in the evening. No response was given except I am still waiting to hear from my sellers. It appeared Reagan was starting to avoid our realtor, who is from the best brokerage in the state (Shull Team). The next day we continued to ask through our realtor and increased our offer price again and shared that we would walk away if we didnt receive a response. Finally, Reagan responded saying they decided to go with the other offer, although we were willing to offer more and waive many things, because we didnt have a local lender. We were disappointed that Reagan didnt communicate this to us, although she knew we lived outside of the state. Reagan lacked professionalism and bordered on unethical practices as a realtor. We have bought several homes before and were truly disappointed in the way we were treated. I would never recommend anyone work with Reagan Tomlinson. Despite the many requests for "the number" her seller wanted, she ignored the requests, and after claiming the problem was having a national lender, she retracted and then her only retort after the deal was done was that we "should have brought our best and highest offer." Laughable, but also ethically questionable when she settled for less than our offer, and certainly unprofessional behavior!
I have been working at Long & Foster Grove for 14 years now and couldn't imagine being surrounded by a better group of professionals and friends. We are more than co-workers - we are family. Additionally, I have purchased two homes and sold one with Long & Foster and each experience was seamless and exciting. Look no further, folks!
I've been working at the Grove office as a staff member for over a year and it is a great place to work! The whole staff and all the agents are really friendly and supportive, always ready to help if you have a question or work out a problem.
