We at Carolina Vision Center are limited by law for what we can say in answering a complaint. We understand the need for medical privacy and will never violate that principle. We are always concerned about any communication which causes any misunderstanding. But suffice it to say that having spoken with the assistants who were present during the lengthy patient discussion with Dr. Woodcock and concerned that the complaint doesnt reflect what was actually said.

I will not be returning to Carolina Vision center ever again. Doctor Michael Woodcock, has to be the most arrogate, self centered, rude human being I have ever came in contact with in over fifty years. He speaks to you in a very condescending manner and constantly boast how great an eye doctor he is, As a doctor he does all the talking without listening to the real concerns of his patients. Self praise no accommodation

This place is so slow and have no clue what they are doing, change doctors all the time and woodcock is one trick pony who has no clue what he is doing he is rude and a bully. My wife refuses to find a better doctor so we end up wasting hours here with a bunch of idiots.

We take pride in helping our patients in any way that we can and it's an amazing feeling knowing what we did made a difference to someone. I use to be a patient of Dr. Kahn and now under the care of Dr. Freeman who is "Awesome" this guy know his stuff and I feel safe in his hands with my damaged eyes, but as of Yesterday I've encountered a young lady that I can't express how she has held my hand over the last 24 hours. It's not often you find staff members with-in a dr office who enjoy and with grace talk, follow-up and re-confirm with patient the way this individual has. The last 24 hour has been challenging to say the least. This individual whom I've never meet in person while visiting the clinic but will make it my business on my next visit on Thursday. I was very happy with my experience getting my Lasik procedure done by Dr. Woodcock and his team. The dedicated staff made sure I was able get my surgery done, even when there were delivery issues with parts for the machine. My eyes are doing very well almost 1 week post-op and I'm happy with my results and the treatment I received while here. Special thanks to Misty and Mark. You guys are awesome!
I took my mother this morning to her apt. At Dr.Kumar office , which the buildings sits next to each other . Her apt. Was at 9:15am .. the parking lots are Over Full No Handicapped parking available anywhere.. I parked in the middle of the street walked my mother in that is on crutches and is 78 years old .. as I returned to park my car their was a space available directly across from where I took mom.. as I parked my car .. ( there was No Sign ) saying Dr. woodcock office parking Only . I parked and was rushing to get back to mom , I hear a man holler at me asking me why I parked there and saying if I work next door Im not allowed to park here .. again the spaces say Nothing .. he appeared to be the physician Dr. Woodcock himself .. I felt very offended by his action , it was terribly uncomfortable for me to have to explain my situation in order to park and get back to my elderly mother .. if this is how he treats perfect strangers , I surely wouldnt ever go to see him !!!! As I return to The office of Dr. Kumar & Jones .. the receptionist could tell I was frustrated and bothered. I explained what happened to her .. she said Wow ( He does that all the time ) !! If your going to be harassing people about parking spaces You need to mark them yours !! By the way he did after all that say it was Okay for me to leave my car in front of his building... after he determined I wasnt an employee... ):
