Furniture was very nice, noted many Asian influenced pieces, but the woman with the blonde hair was cold and aloof. We left without buying anything. Not recommended due to lack of customer service.
Moving to a new place can be exciting but it is never easy. Regardless if you are downsizing, upgrading, buying or renting you will inevitably need (or need to part) with a few pieces: furniture, artwork, accent pieces...all of what makes a house feel like a home. I recently moved to the Seattle area from New York City and finally have room for my dining room table! I need chairs, maybe a bench and have a few too many pieces of artwork for my new residence. A neighbor suggested Foryu and from the first hello over the phone to the handshake and goodbye in the store, I was sold...and confident my framed prints would be too. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable and professional. They enthusiastically answered all my questions and showed my friend and me around the store. Foryu's inventory was beyond my expectation with price points in every budget, styles for every taste and something for every room...now I just wish I had more rooms to fill!
Foryu Furnishings is an excellent consignment store, and the owner and expert employees make it very pleasant and comfortable to work with them when you are selling something personal that means a lot to you. They worked diligently to find a good home for my Mom's Henredon dining room set. They sold it for the full asking price, and they pay you promptly as promised at the end of the month when your item is sold. I highly recommend Foryu Furnishings to anyone who needs their kind of service. I consider them my friends now. R.B. Carnation, WA
I went there to check the sofas, but when I entered, nobody cared to say even hi to me. And I saw some insects on the sofas. I got time to take a picture of one of them!!!
