Very disheartening in the past few years to witness the condition of the grounds. We will be having a private service on Monday and my sister had to go and trim weeds so that we could see the family gravestone. Sad as the grounds used to be beautiful and I cannot imagine there is not enough money to pay for decent maintenance. So disrespectful to so many.
Thank you very much for such a great review! We work really hard to maintain our facilities, so we are happy to see that was reflected at your last visit.

The staff is very nice and helpful but the head stones for the deceased is very expensive. The graveyard does offer payment plans that are fairly reasonable. The grounds are always well maintained.
On June 8, 2020, I visited my parents' gravesites in Garden of Memories. Daddy passed in 2013 and Mama in 2018. Their sites are next to one another. My hope of spending some quiet, reflective time with them was instantly squelched by the disgraceful condition of their grave sites. Mama's site on the right was sunken into a canoe shape, and Daddy's site was mounded with dry, cracked dirt sans grass. With tears flowing, I began asking myself questions. Had someone started to dig at Mama's site while heaping the dirt onto Daddy's site, or did some type of plow make its way over their grave sites? With there ashes barely below the surface, you can imagine the horror of my thoughts. On June 9, 2020, I called the office. Samantha put in a work order for the grounds crew. On June 15, 2020, I was told the grave site was on the list for June 16, 2020. I called on June 18, 2020 to see if the work had been done and was told by the man who answered that he would check and call me back. Then, he abruptly disconnected the call. It is now July 8, 2020, and that call back to me still has not happened. Having dealt with some of these people before, I was not surprised. Hence, I drove back to the gravesite to see for myself. The grounds crew had been there. I have posted photos of the gravesites and of the dried up, deplorable looking cross shaped fountain and the unkempt area around it. That fountain is one of the reasons my parents chose this location. Daddy always said he could go fishing, something he loved. Our family would like some answers as to how that gravesite was transformed to such a deplorable mess. Our hearts hurt. Photos coming. Sharon R. Butler
