Well what a day, had a TV fitter to come in to fit a tv bracket, a five metre hdmi cable and an Satellite cable extension. Having checked the price of these items on the internet I found that the total for parts was 49.77, I asked him whilst here and when booking the work to put me holes within the chimney breast to divert the cables and hide them. Irene came home from work to find cables all over the wall and not what she expected. The price quoted for the work was originally 139, but before he left I had paid 304 pounds to pay for the bracket which he fitted which he said was larger than originally ordered even though this item is for sale for the same make at 34.99 and the 2 extension cables. Beware, the firm is called The TV Aerial Company and I would not use them again or in fact recommend them to anyone else.

1 Star is 1 to many for this company, but I must say at the beginning very helpful and prompt service, until the engineer left. I called them out to diagnose a problem with a multi booster unit for 12 comunnal flats which he did (no problem so far). The engineer had entered a property unknown to me at the time to test there signal and left. I had to go back and try to sort it out, which I did he left the hdmi cable out of the sky box and connected the sat cable back into the wrong input, customer had no sky at all. Called back the call centre to explain the situation and got through to the manager who insisted the engineer left it as it was and he was very rude and hung up on me, I only wanted an explanation a may be a refund or discount. Fat chance of that. Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, and I will be contacting trading standards but for what good it would do me but worth a try. I am a business man myself and it annoys me when situations happen like this also by the amount of other unsatisfied 1star reviews.

James from TV Aerials Company was extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He provided an excellent service, fitting a new aerial in the attic and four new aerial points throughout the house. He took time to explain my options and worked in an efficient, clean and tidy manner. I was very pleased with the service I received and would definitely recommend him.

Currys delivered a new TV but was unable to install it and set it up to my AV equipment, Apparently it not what they call a standard installation whatever that means. I found a Company and they installed my system and connected up to my existing equipment. Engineer was Steve and would defiantly recommend them.

Moved house and couldn't find the Ariel. Called this company and an engineer called to say I needed an amp indoor power box. My youview box arrived ten days later and could not set it up as the Ariel would not fit..called them and explained the problem, arranged to visit on my day off but called me mid day to say that the engineer was sick could we rearrange for the next day which I couldn't agree to as being at work or wait until 8 days later for my next day off as they don't work a sunday. Told them not to bother and called out Everest Arial installation who was fantastic, arrived later that day tested the Ariel signal which was excellent and did need the amp box. 78 wasted on some one who was in a hurry to go home on my eyes. Never again will I contact them
