Shannon, my apologies for the experience... I'll have to go back through 2016 orders and 2017 orders to research all that happened... I do see these were our lower quality 7.8 oz. sweatshirts, but they had a lot of decoration including glitter which probably accounted for the higher price. Typically our turnaround time after we close a store is just over two weeks as well, but this is the first I'm hearing about the challenges. I will look into it and address the issues. Regarding the water bottles those are not done in house and require larger minimums, which probably accounted for the delay. Thank you for the feedback. - John Grantham

The sweatshirts pil really badly. We have teachers and families who had to buy a new sweatshirt this year because the one they bought and received less than 12 months ago looked pretty bad. A $35 adult sweatshirt should last longer than that. The orders we sent in this year took a VERY long time to come in from the time that the "store" was closed. We ran two stores, the first closing around November 14th. It took until December 14th for Budd Bay to deliver our order. I have a student in another school that uses a different spirit wear company. Their order period ended November 14th and the students brought the shirts home on December 4th. The second order took even longer and had duplicates made from the first order. Our school's total orders were around 30 items or less each time. My other child's school ran an order of 200+ items and had them back in just over two weeks. Last school year, the order didn't come in all at once and we waited several extra weeks for the water bottles families had ordered. I am very frustrated with this company and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I'm surprised this review is still on line after our conversation... Your son did not return my calls to confirm it was our store he came into... We would not have treated him this way and as we discussed, nobody in our office recalls him coming in that day. We probably would not have provided a sponsorship for an out of the area college football team as they're not in our market... but certainly we would have treated him politely. And by the way, I don't see where you've ever done business with us which again makes me wonder if it was our store he came into.

Do not ever use this place my son went in asking for a home town sponcership for his college football team he will be playing for next season. The Lady told him if you were part of a known Thurston family I would help but since you're not the answer is NO. I've used this place before but never again and have been spreading the word. I am a local youth football coach and all of my parents will be very aware.

The Olympia Kiwanis for Olympia Harbor Days has been using Budd Bay Apparel for years and has been happy with all services including staff, communication and products. The festival has been offering logo wear for decades and with Budd Bay has been able to increase the product offerings. They are so cool, they even staff the booth at this non-profit festival. Amy... We have a handful of jackets we keep in stock for sizing. As you know your son tried on a jacket but a larger size in a different style had to be ordered and produced on spec by Budd Bay... It is a bit of a timely and expensive process. We apologize for the delay. I do believe our lead times on these jackets are shorter than any other company in the area... We apologize if the entire process or any delays was not accurately explained.

After 5 weeks of trying just to get a sample Letterman's jacket to try on we are still waiting. If you want a timley product, no communication and excuses...this is your store.
