Received hayfever medication for my daughter today and realised that one of the bottles would expire next month. I returned to the pharmacy to ask for another bottle with a longer expiration date. I was told that the medication was ordered in but the bottle had to be split in two because it was too large and if they split medication they can only put a short expiration date of a few days on the item they give to customers but obviously the bottle they had taken it from had a longer expiration date......what a load of rubbish! I was told that I could not get a replacement. So I asked her to let me see the bottle hey ordered in so I could see the date. After faffing around in the back for 5 minutes all was revealed. They was no new bottle, they were trying to get ride of old stock....bloody check!!! All of a sudden another bottle was on order to be picked up the next day with no apology for her lies. CHECK YOUR DATES ON YOUR MEDICATION OR YOU COULD BE GETTING THE LEFT OVERS THAT THEY SHOULD BE THROWING AWAY.
At this point, only money is counted only business and nothing more. The patient's opinion does not matter here. Three employees, including the manager, dismissed me, saying that I still have to take drugs at home because the system tells them so. They were in error, after showing a copy of the prescription it turned out that I was right but it was not a reason for any apologies and explanations from the manager of this place. I advise against this place of lack of professionalism and show discomfort and disrespect at every stage of dealing with matters.
