Came here looking for a Neapolitan style pizza. Unfortunately the guy preparing the dough was slapping, rolling and throwing the dough like it deserved punishment, leaving the crust small and dense rather than light and airy. The dough should be treated the same way you treat your mother: with respect. Really unfortunate because the flavor of the dough was there but the texture wasn't and I saw other reviewer's photos where some had the proper rise.
Ordered the Pesto Chicken and it came out amazing! Very good pizza! Might be busy so be patient as it seems they are limited staff during quarantine. Other than that it was great service and food! They do have outdoor dining as well!
I tried MidiCi pizza, and understand why the reviews are mixed. This place has a lot of potential but has poor execution. I love wood-fired pizza and expect some char, however, both pizzas we ordered had burnt crust. It shouldnt leave a bitter taste or overpower other flavors. This seems to be a common complaint which could probably be fixed by rotating the pizza, or by modifying the heat or timing. If they advertise as wood-fired, they should get it right and know the difference between charred and burnt! The crust somehow was also soggy in the middle. They also need to work on seasonings and flavors. The combination of ingredients are good in concept but they lack seasoning and are pretty bland. I got the truffle and prosciutto. I couldnt taste the truffle cream at all so Im not even sure it was there, and it otherwise just tasted like prosciutto and burnt crust. But my husband did like his pepperoni pizza, aside from the burnt crust. And we were excited about the lemon ricotta cannolis but those were pretty bland too. Overall (sorry to say), the food is meh.
