Had a very strange visit. There were two men cutting hair and a few others waiting around. A woman was sweeping up. The shop banter was surprisingly sexual and misogynistic which seemed generally inappropriate, and especially so in mixed company. The fellow cutting my hair offered me a beer when I sat down. Maybe they were all drunk. The haircut itself was average and the fellow's scissors were a bit dull. Cost was $40, including tip. Don't think I'll be back.
Maybe great for men's haircuts but Chris messed my haircut up twice (woman)/gave me layers and literally did the opposite of what I asked, despite showing a photo of blunt bob with no layers. Took 5 months and cutting my hair many inches to get rid of the layers he gave me. The hairdresser I went to after him also said from looking at the photo I gave him he seems to not know what he's doing and did the opposite of what I asked. Not exactly what I want to happen for a haircut. Also second what Trapper said "The shop banter was surprisingly sexual and misogynistic which seemed generally inappropriate." I'm a queer woman re what the other reviewer said after Trapper's review (Anthony) so pretty sure it has nothing to do with that... unless you're a queer man who thinks misogynistic remarks are okay.
Nice salon and great people that work there. Been here a few times and mostly just for a trim when things got too shaggy. Despite just requesting a trim (which in all my previous experience is 1-2in cut off), the buzzers have come out and I've been left with a lot less hair than I bargained for. Sadly, I will not be back.
