Hi Amy. We care a lot about our customers' experience in our space so I wanted to respond to this comment. This happened two years ago. It was Christmastime and your friends came in with a new baby and their little girl. The little girl was running around the shop, twirling and playing. She accidentally ran directly into two ceramic-shaded floor lamps displayed against the wall. The lamps toppled over and fell onto the floor and were significantly damaged. I was pretty shaken up, as well as the parents. It's an uncomfortable situation that had never happened in our shop before. I was unsure of how to proceed and communicated my uncertainty to the parents. (Our shop is full of breakable glass and ceramic items - not really well set up for small children playing.) The father generously offered to pay for the lamps. I suggested a price with a 60% discount, which they paid and took the lamps home to repair and keep them. Although it was an unfortunate circumstance, I felt it was a fair resolution on both sides and your friends never communicated any regrets.

A friend's 5 year old tripped over a cord, knocking down a lamp that almost seriously injured her from falling cement components. The manager came out and insisted the family purchase the broken lamp. Mom paid, in shock of watching her kid almost get killed from the falling objects. Stores should have insurance for this kind of thing.
The owner clearly has fabulous taste in material things but certainly lacks judgment or character. Be sure that before you shop at a store that is named after anything related to a culture known for its 'military tactics' you keep your opinion to yourself because if your opinion differs from that of the owner you may not have the opportunity to adorn your life with overpriced meaningless things. If you happen to be someone she simply just doesn't care for, be careful because she may just cancel you... Im sorry I mean cancel your order..
I ordered two beautiful sculptures from Spartan shop and had a wonderful experience. Customer service was amazing and my order was received very quickly. Such a beautifully curated store. Melanie
I ordered my daughter-in-law's Christmas from the Spartan Shop and because of the holidays I am going to have to leave one day before it is being delivered!! This was through no fault of the shop. When I contacted them they gave me the best customer service I have had in a long time! Within 30 minutes they had rerouted that package to be delivered to my daughter in law in Austin! We're hoping it gets there by Christmas but even if it doesn't it will be delivered within a few days after. Thank you so very much for the prompt and courteous attention that you gave me in this matter!
