So sorry you had that experience, Amanda. There have been errors on Google in the past, and Im not sure how that happens. I have updated the hours on Google but it is always most reliable to check with the store directly, not just for our store, than to rely on a third party site. We update our hours weekly on our stores voicemail message and you can always contact us directly at 707-875-9463. Again, we apologize and look forward to seeing you on your next visit to Bodega Bay!

We brought family from out of town visiting here and the store was closed. We checked the store hours online beforehand and it stated that it was open.

We go to this shop every year we go camping at PortoBodega. Purchased a metal pelican yard art two years ago. It's awesome! They offer a TON of different kites and salt water taffy and some other toys. They offered a free sample of taffy, and used to have a $5.00 daily special. The Government Covid shutdown temporarily put an end to those. We also purchase a few grocery bags here every year. Cute printed Bodega Bay bags! The gals are amicable, and will help you hunt for a kite.

This is THe BEST place to stop when youre at the coast and the best destination, if youre not! The staff is super friendly and helpful. They really care about FUN!! Bring your mask, your inner child and your wallet, because you wont want to leave here empty handed. Remember, theres no better way to social distance than to fly a kite at the beach! These are, seriously, the purest and kindest shop owners I have ever met. When I got on to give a review I was so surprised to see a bad one. This is the place for you if you can be kind and serious about fun. Otherwise, do the world a favor and stay home. I, for one, cant wait until I can go back!!!

Owner talked us into a kite said it was good for kids. Wouldnt get lift so we tried to take it back next morning to exchange . She only wanted to give us half our money back. Said that kite need lots of wind! Really for a small kid??? We spent a good amount of money yesterday and probably would have today also! We left and went down the street to candy and kites! Much nicer !!!
