SSM are so friendly and helpful. I fell off my bike at high speed and bent my crank arm inwards, they let me borrow a huge length of pipe to bend my crank arm back out successfully. More recently I had a metal fender for a cruiser bicycle tab snap off (common fault on these) and SSM fixed it for me free of charge, I expected the paint to be damaged (SSM did also) from the weld, but it came out so neat and tidy, very good job. Absolute legends, simply can't go wrong!

Having spent more than 20 years in industries which are highly reliant on sheet metal and precision components, I've used a number of Sheet Metal Specialists over the years with varying degrees of success. Imagine my delight when I discovered the outstanding levels of service, quality and resourcefulness which I enjoy with Stevenage Sheet Metal. We rely on their proactive approach, their reasonable and consistent pricing and their ability to get us out of trouble when we need it. We've called them at 2pm with an urgent 'out of the blue' requirement, and have been able to collect it at 4.30pm the same day. Normally, you just can't buy that kind of commitment and flexibility, but it seems that when you find the right supplier, you actually can. We're always delighted with the quality of the finish, the durability of their painting and powder coating and their adherence to the original design intent (however ropey the sketches we send them may be) and would recommend them without reservation to anyone looking for service and quality you can rely on, time after time. Absolutely worth five stars, shame there aren't more like Stevenage Sheet Metal in the industry.
