Shame to be writing this ,been using Merlin for many years along with my team members ,first sign of an issue with a product got told basically to get stuffed .team members were disappointed as well !!!

Hello Octane Motors. We are sorry to hear about your problems. As discussed on our online Chat system, you are welcome to return the ducts to us. But as you ordered the ducts on the 1st September and it is now the 18th November, you will have to return them at your cost. We have spoken to the manufacturer and they are happy that the duct is within tolerance. They will also review their tooling to check that all is well. Also, we have checked our stock and the 51mm ducting hose does fit the duct you have. We do not feel there is any deceit, we supplied the order to you in good time, and we would like to resolve any problems you think you may have to the best of our ability. And just for your information, we did not and have not banned you from our online chat system. The chat system is only available when we are here and are open for business, it is not a 24 hour chat line.

We encountered a case of DECEIT with this company. We purchased 2x 152mm/51mm offset air duct, part n.ID152-51OS and the suitable Revotec size 51mm I.D for their connection, part n.REV-RSL51. The company in their site have a technical drawing of the air duct, dimension for the hose inlet is 51mm BUT on the real product is at the beginning of the inlet 45mm, then has a bulb like shape that measures 54mm, so the hose with I.D 51mm does not fit at all. When we contacted the company about this problem, someone named Chris after a lot of discussions in the live chat said that they cannot do anything about it, Revotec is the supplier, he admitted that the drawing is irrelevant to the real product and we should cut the hose's wires so it fits. He even went to their stock in shelf and said that the others are the same shape,he tried it and it fits tightly! The only solution that they gave us was to ship them to England with our expenses so they can refund us. We will not spend a single dime about it, since the client is not obliged to make modifications to a product that it is not what is meant to be, neither pay out of his pocket for shipping them back, neither losing work hours/money when a company delivers products that their information is misleading. Please someone explain to us where is the reason to supply a technical drawing of a product with wrong dimensions? Everyone be aware of this matter, maybe all Revotec same part n. ducts have the same problem or not, but saying that ''Regardless the drawing, it is a mass product item so there is nothing we can do'' is not support. They even banned us from the live chat while we were typing. Unprofessional manner lets say. Stay away, we hope we will not encounter another problem of our last order that had a sum of nearly 1000 Euro, of course we will never purchase anything from them again. That's all.
