Something beautiful happens when Mr. Stankovich gets his hands on one of Cincinnatis historic buildings, perhaps its the wonderful people that choose to work for him, because they know how much fun, tasteful and classy his restaurants/bars are. Or maybe its the perfect concoction of ambiance - dim lighting, juicy playlists and bar stools filled with the best kind of people in Cincy. Pull up, grab a griddled English muffin, slap some pickle butter on it and lean in. This is the best If anywhere, not just Cincy.

I should have suspected that when the owner of my favorite bar (Longfellow) opened up a restaurant, it would de facto become one of my favorite restaurants. Everything is done perfectly here, from the curation of the menu, to the combination of flavor notes each dish managed to hit. If youre a Cincinnati foodie or someone from out of town who wants to maximize there visit, Mid City is a must.
