I am pleased you found our staff to be knowledgeable and courteous. Regarding the time frame for your glasses. Your vision plan, Spectera, requires that your glasses be made at their lab. Please understand that the length of time for completion was not due to our processing, but by your insurance company.

Staff is very knowledgeable and courteous. I was surprised my glasses took more than two weeks to be made, though.
My first visit to EyeDeals was in November 2017. I came in based on a recommendation from another patient, and received a basic eye exam and purchased a pair of eyeglasses. I absolutely loved the optometrist (Dr. Stolfo) - she is the best optometrist I have ever been to in the 20+ years I have worn glasses/corrective lenses. Dr. Stolfo explained what she was doing throughout the exam, and provided me with more information than what I've received from other such doctors. However, my experience with the office staff was awful, and based on this I will never return to this practice. The office manager (Nick) charged me $330 to cover the cost of my glasses/lenses the day of my visit, telling me that I would be reimbursed directly from my health insurance provider once my claim had been processed. EyeDeals did not submit my claim to my health insurance provider until February - three months after my visit and just before my 90 day claim window ended. By April I had not received any reimbursement from my health insurance so I called them to see what was going on. As it turns out, EyeDeals had been reimbursed directly by the health insurer, in addition to taking my payment the day of my appointment....and never contacted me about the reimbursement they now owed me. Taking payment from a patient and receiving insurer funds for those same services is INSURANCE FRAUD. I called EyeDeals to figure out this situation, and the office manager spoke to me in a very demeaning manner as if I did not know what I was talking about, even though I had confirmed the situation with my health insurer multiple times and had my explanation of benefits in-hand. The office manager was upset about the amount of benefits EyeDeals received for the in-network pricing agreed upon by the practice and the insurer, and refused multiple times to provide me with any of the reimbursement which I was owed (over $300). Note that the practice has no right to determine what a patient's health insurance benefits are or are not - this is the reason for previously agreed upon in-network pricing, which is between the practice and the health insurer - not between the practice and the patient. It was only after my health insurance company directly intervened that the office manager refunded my money (after making me return my glasses, which I had worn for 6 months, and after retaining the health insurer benefits they had already received for those glasses). Had my health insurer not intervened, and had I not been persistent with this issue by wasting hours of my time across a period of 6 months, I would be out the over $300 I was rightly owed. Moral of the story - consumer beware, the optometrist is great, but the way this establishment handles their claims is NOT trustworthy. Be prepared to spend a lot of time making sure your EOB was followed by this provider, and know that you may not be fairly compensated.
Dr. Stolfo is an excellent optometrist, I recommend her without reservation. Her staff is also very efficient, professional and personable . You will be glad you chose this practice.
Horrible, horrible customer service. I arrived with no friendly greeting on time at 11:15 for an 11:30 appt. I waited until 11:45 until I asked how much longer, I was told 10 - 15 minutes like I was bugging the FD by asking that question. Its ok when you are running behind but be courteous and apologize and acknowledge your delay. The Dr. came out a few times never said a word or a friendly smile like I was another number/patient. I left and asked for my records, I didnt feel comfortable getting an eye exam from a place that does not model true customer service. If they cant get customer service correct how can they touch the most important component of the body - your eyes!
