We have just today recieved our Double Bed from Oak Furniture Uk and have to say, the product is fantastic. BUT having placed our order on the 14th January, we are very dissatisfied with the service we have recieved from Oak Furniture Uk. Expecting 7-15 days for delivery and not hearing anything from Oak Furniture Uk, after 20 days I phone to enquirer how our order is going. 'Something to do with a delivery van breaking down, product not collected this time, you should hear from delivery company in a next week for a delivery date'. So we wait, and don't hear a thing. Phone OFUK and given almost the same excuse blaming the delivery company and told we'd hear from them the next week. We hear nothing. So I phone again the following week and still no solution, I was even asked if I'd tried contacting the delivery company.....how do I do this when I have no knowledge of who they are? It comes to head when I contact OFUK for a 4/5th time (I lost count) and I ask for a refund. Suddenly things progress, we are contacted by delivery company who state 'if we're not sent the product, we can't deliver', but get a date booked and bed arrives. Don't be fooled by the delivery promise on OFUKs or that they'll contact you. They showed very little interest in my order and we unhelpful at best over the phone. A very dissatisfied customer, and whilst I like the product I didn't want the hassle this has caused me.
Unfortunately after placing an order for two expensive dining chairs, almost 5 months later the shipment from Poland did not arrive, therefore had to cancel the order. Customer service could not find out where the order was?! It seems that UK goods are misleading, as UK had no control over delivery or factory abroad, where they are made.
Many items no price labels on & this my first time in the store (needed 3 or more items due to house move). Only one staff in the office.
