My made In Mexico truck needs a new rear end. It has warranty, right? Yes but it'll take about a week to 2 weeks before the nearest Freightliner dealer in Chattanooga TN area can fix it. Can i have the towing company's shop fix it in a day or pay for the diff? No it's not a certified shop. Freightliner charges you over $2,500 for an ECM that probably cost them $50 to manufacture in China, the dealership $140 an hour in labor. Their customer relations won't help when you ask to get your truck fixed in a timely manner by their chain of dealers. Reducing your downtime is just some empty slogan they use to sell their trucks they make in Mexico. I have 4 new Freightliners, great trucks, horrible service.
A debt of gratitude is owed to all the employees of Daimler NA. Thank You all for your tolerance of the camps and people that have called this place home. Your patience is recognized and appreciated. Fingers are crossed for successful transition to other areas and ultimately homes or suitable avenues for each and every one of the good people that let me be part of their community for this time. Good Luck to us all....Endeavor to Persevere. -OJW 1974
