I feel this gentleman actually SCAMMED and HUSTLED us to get FREE artwork. Once my graphic designers spent 2 hours fixing and cleaning up HIS artwork that HE brought in to us to have it ready for printing, he wanted to cancel his order and NOT PAY anything. And, we ended up giving him a FULL-REFUND anyways, just to avoid dealing with him anymore. (I was actually debating if I should address the accusation of the SCAM or the RACE thing first.) - - - - And, if he had ever seen my family, he would not have even said anything about race... we are like a box of crayons in DIFFERENT SHADES... a completely mixed group of practically every combination of different mixed races. And, even though I personally "look white", I am a proud FIRST-GENERATION American after my Dad IMMIGRATED to the USA and spent 30 years either in the military or working for the military. So my advice to this gentleman, is to NOT judge people and form opinions based on how someone looks on the outside. - - - - BUT, he brought it up, and I don't avoid RACE issues/concerns... AND, It is easy to talk about because I am VERY confident... we treat EVERYONE the same. It's that simple! We provide the absolute best service possible to ALL of our customers... and, like in this case, if someone is difficult or possibly dishonest, then we (actually me) bluntly call them on it. I feel that for him to suggest that the way HE acted and the results from HIS actions was a RESULT of HIM being HIS Race is frankly, an INSULT.... NOT to us, but to others of the same race as him. But, I guess it is easier to blame HIS "treatment" due to HIS actions on a larger group, rather than accepting personal responsibility and admitting it was just HIS personal attitude and HIS personality. It was HIM, and NOT his race that acted the way he did. Things only went sideways, when he DID NOT want to pay for the services provided. At that point, I "treated" him the EXACT SAME WAY I would of treated ANYONE in the same situation. He was a VERY difficult person who made up lies to try to justify their actions and wanted something for nothing. That is HIM... and has zero to do with whatever race/group he is. ------- BUT, let's move forward and address the other issue he brought up. -------This is one of those customers we get, about once every few years, that we wish they had NEVER walked through our doors. Even Julieta, who is the most mild-mannered and even-tempered person, was literally exasperated when dealing with this customer. This is what happened. This gentleman placed an order and gave us really HORRIBLE artwork that my graphic designers spent 2 HOURS cleaning up and making right. Once we finished fixing HIS artwork, he wanted to cancel his order and KEEP the artwork. So, we told him we would give him a refund minus $15 to compensate for the time we spent fixing HIS artwork... and that did NOT even cover the time we had invested. Then, he calls us up today and says we scammed him out of $25 and we were STEALING his shirts he brought in. We already told him to come pick up his shirts 3 days ago, and now he is saying we are stealing them. In the meantime, I told him I felt he TOOK ADVANTAGE of us by getting us to spend 2 hours fixing his artwork... and he tells me that is my job. I explained it is our job to create good art for PAID orders, not to provide good art as a FREE CHARITY. It did not matter what or how we explained things to him, he just would not or did not want to understand. So, after his ranting about "this isn't communist China"... and other stuff that did not make sense, I finally told him that I was just going to refund his $15 too... just to be done with this situation. From the VERY first interaction with this customer (way before anything went wrong), we did not feel this was a stable person... but we always try to help EVERYONE who walks through our doors achieve their idea. 99.9% of the time, things work out, but in this instance, it did not.

Horrible. Scammed out of 25 dollars. Treated less than a customer. Disgusted with the customer service. I didnt like a design and simply asked for my money back and out a 60 dollar order I received 45 dollars. I feel as if I was a different race I would have been treated with a little bit of respect.
Although this review VIOLATES Google's review policy because it contains general political, social commentary, or personal rants, I, The Owner of Shirtzz.com T-Shirt Shop, am going to leave it up and NOT request to have it removed. So, let's move forward and address these concerns... ---- Hi... I am 100% POSITIVE I did not EVER have a conversation with ANYONE about what this person is stating. I am assuming this is perhaps meant for another T-Shirt business (after all this person stated they "are not from here"), or there are some unresolved feelings I am not aware of. ----- I have absolutely NO IDEA where this is coming from. I am the owner, but have not spoken with ANYONE about any negative issues in several months... since like APR or MAY 2018 (and that was with a particularly-unbalanced, putting it kindly, lady who I tried my hardest to give a COMPLETE REFUND to so we could avoid dealing with her because none of my employees could stand to deal with that lady anymore)... I DO NOT think this is the same person because it was NOT about what this person is stating. And I DEFINTELY DO NOT remember a conversation like this one nor does ANY of our employees. --- UPDATED 08/28/18: I spoke with my wife and she recognized the lady's photo, so this reviewer IS THE LADY mentioned in the above paragraph, although the issue at that time was different than what she is mentioning now. This is also the same lady my staff almost called the police on when she was "bouncing around" our store and shouting tirades of profanity. We still worked with her to complete her order, although we tried our hardest to give here a refund so she would go somewhere else to get her t-shirts. --- As for the "history" of the Great State of Texas and whether or not it was the last to abolish slavery, well... I don't know myself nor do I know how that pertains to me or our t-shirt business. We make custom t-shirts not study history, but, I may ask about it to some of the teachers from the local school districts and colleges who come in here and shop --- And, to address this person's statement of "bigotry"... I had to Google the definiton of that word, which is stated as "intolerance toward those who hold different opinions from oneself". Personally, I don't have an "intolerance" toward anybody for any reason (except maybe my neighbor who kept parking their car in front of my house and not leaving me room to park), much less for someone having a different opinion... it seems SO TRIVIAL to me for anyone to even care about someone else having a "different opinion" because we are ALL part of such a diverse group of people and cultures, I am sure EVERYONE has different opinions. I believe it is an essential element of life, because no one wants to be the same as everyone else. ----- As for our T-Shirt Shop, We are NOT perfect and we DO make mistakes but we ALWAYS fix any issues caused by us to the best of our ability. Do we have negative issues with some customers, YES... every business does. Do we try hard to resolve those issues... OF COURSE. Is everyone pleased 100% of the time... NO. As for the other 99.9% of our customers who have REPEATEDLY purchased products from us for years and years and who are now bringing THEIR kids and grandkids in to get custom -tshirts, that SHOULD BE A TESTAMENT TO OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE. ----- And, this person stating that we SUPPOSEDLY said "We will always stay in business because we make yal R.i.p shirts", this is SO FAR FROM THE TRUTH, it is almost laughable. What actually keeps us in business is REPEAT CUSTOMERS who keep coming back month after month and year after year because they know we offer GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE and they KNOW we will do practically anything within our power to insure a POSITIVE EXPERIENCE for them and they KNOW they can count on us to work hard (staying late, working days off, etc...) to get their order done on time. THAT IS WHAT KEEPS US or ANY BUSINESS in BUSINESS!

The worst service ever! I am not from here, but I know good customer service and care. The owner is very rude and I was very disappointed at how many times my order was incorrect. When I explained to him that he was being unfair and rude as a store owner...his reply to me was" We will always stay in business because we make yal R.i.p shirts...I have never been so offended, but after all if he gets away with, he stays in business! Keeping in mind that this state was last to abolish slavery...I can only pray for his unkind heart and hope patrons pay attention to his bigotry.

Great shop! I've been going here for years and they always get it right! Best customer service! I've made so many of my designs come to life through this shop.
I find this review very SUSPICIOUS since this person CAN NOT be found in our customer database and also because this person did 142 different low-star reviews of businesses from Killeen to Georgetown to Rosenburg in just the last 12 hours. They even left a review saying "slow service" for the Eastlake Shopping Center where we are located... And the shopping center doesn't even provide service, just the merchants located in the shopping center. So with that being said, let me address this review... Wow. That would of been the VERY LAST response we would of expected from anyone. We offer the FASTEST production times of custom tees available ANYWHERE. If this comment was referring to the time it takes to create and design a custom t-shirt, then well... It is a CUSTOM tee... and not just something you can run in and grab off the rack and run out with. CUSTOM work does take time. Although this is the VERY FIRST person in over 13 YEARS to tell us we we had "slow service", I AM sorry this person didn't have a positive experience using our services (if they really actually did use our services). Please accept my apologies.
