Let me explain my side of this story. You brought your BMW X5 2006 into us as the car was smoking when starting the engine in the morning. We did our diagnostic checks and advised you needed a set of glow plugs. On trying to replace them we advised you that they were actually seized into the cylinder head (most garages walk away at this point) we didnt, we persisted to try and get them out for you by soaking them in various different solutions trying to avoid snapping them in the cylinder head. After we successfully removed them we then advised that all your inlet manifold seals are worn and needed replaced, they had been leaking for a very long time as the full engine bay was full of carbon. After we replaced the inlet manifold seals (Now the correct boost pressure is holding within the manifold) on our road test the inlet manifold cracked and started leaking from the actual plastic welds. (You were in the garage at the time we should you this and explained it to you clearly) We didnt cause this problem, unfortunately its a very old part and takes a lot of wear and tear do to the heat of the engine over 20 years. You also asked me to service the car and as we had your car for 2 weeks, I said I would do the service at no labour costs to you as good will. I also said I would replace the inlet manifold at no labour cost to try and help out but you refused and wanted to take your car away. Im sorry you had a bad experience but it wasnt us that caused any sort of damage to your car unfortunately sometimes these things happen with older cars.

the worst car service instead of repairing the damage is to be avoided
(FAKE REVIEW) Hi Robert, could I ask what kind of car this was as we have no records of selling a car for 800???? This is the first time we have heard of this. Why havent you contacted anyone at our garage in relation to this matter? Surely if you were having issues you would have contacted us straight away for us to try and resolve these issues?? But again we have zero records of selling anyone a vehicle for 800. Please send us a reply.

I hate to leave bad reviews on businesses but the way this business has conducted themselves is shocking. I bought a car from this garage, was told the car was in good health and had minor external wear. The car drove fine for a few months until the exhaust had fallen off while driving! Leaving me stranded and with a broken car, the tire also had a slow puncture. Both of these issues were fixed by a very reliable garage that finished the job quickly and at a very good price. I knew that I would take the car for its MOT to this garage due to they're reliability. The car's MOT came back with 13 MAJOR DEFECTS and one defect was classed as dangerous for the driver and the public. The car is now off the road and is awaiting to be scrapped. I checked the previous MOT history on the car and it was all clear, the car lasted about 3 months on the road and wasted over 800 of money on a dangerous and unsafe car.
