Dear Alexandra, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your detailed review. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your visit. I am sorry you didn't feel there were very many animals on your trip around the 360 acres of the Safari Park and in particularly in the Road Safari. We have over 80 species of animals at the park and they are given plenty of space and the freedom to roam within the parkland reserves. We do not allow day visitors to feed the animals at the Park. This is because all of the animals are on carefully monitored diets and their welfare is a top priority. We do charge a small additional amount for the indoor sea lion demonstration and cinema experience in Sea Lion Cove. This is so that only those who wish to have the indoor experience pay for it, due to limited seating capacity. Our sea lions can be seen at any time during the day in their outdoor pool and we have an outdoor talk for those who wish to learn more about them, but do not want to pay for the indoor experience. As a safari park, we allow visitors to enter in their own vehicles and see the animals move freely within their enclosures. Unlike a traditional zoo where the animals are in smaller enclosures and can be viewed continually, the animals have the freedom to spend time where they please. This means each time you complete a circuit of the Road Safari, you might see them in different areas and exhibiting different behaviours, as they would in the wild. In the first Savannah Grasslands reserve, you will see a great mixture of species as you would in Africa, including ostrich, wildebeest, rhino, several species of antelope, buffalo, zebra, and cattle to name a few. We encourage visitors who do encounter a problem to bring it to the attention of staff so that whenever possible, we are able to resolve any issues a visitor may have, during their visit. Kind regards, Shannon (Marketing Executive)

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU WASTE MONEY AND TIME ON SUCH TERRIBLE SERVICE AND HEALTH AND SAFETY! ITS BEST TO GO TO THE WEST MIDLANS ONE OR LONG LEAT! Extremely disappointed with the price, the service of the staff and the attractions they had for the following reasons: -species of animals are very limited -you cannot feed animals like giraffes, parrots, zebras, etc compared to other safari's, so I see no point of calling yourselves a safari if you are basically just an open zoo we can drive through, the point of a safari is to see and get quite close to animals, and feed the less dangerous species -the animals are barely there, its almost as if they open the park to visitors but they hide the animals, its pathetic really -there is only one tiger strolling about in the place and only one species. -we paid 2.50 pounds for a sea lion show which started 10 minutes late and lasted about 7 minutes long, the sea lion did one single trick while we listened to some woman speak to us about sea lions, information which I could have gone on Google and read myself and the information was very basic -the staff aren't attentive at all, for example at the same sea lion show, they said that if an emergency happens we just go to a door and push and exit the building, they did not mention any fire assembly point or in what order we come are to come out, basic health and safety was just non existent -the instructions they give you on the map is just confusing, we were told on the map to go to the shop to buy tickets to see the meerkats, yet when we got there we were told to go to another place to buy the tickets and we didn't get to see them anyway because apparently they were fully booked but I didnt see anyone queing up when we went past the meerkats area. -most safari parks have some sort of theme park, all they had here was a little high rope trail, again which was quite pathetic only a few meters long and only kids could go on -the toilets are absolutely disgusting, there is no mirror and the hand dryer did not work, having a decent toilet facility is basic really -the foot safari was very small and again not much to see apart from goats and a chicken strolling about, very small and very disappointing -went to see the parrots and it was only one parrots and the room where you go in was smaller than my living room, apparently you cannot touch them, cannot feed them, I see no point of having a parrot room, I could see them just fine through a window at this rate - there were many attractions like the elephants are that were closed and not accessible to public, so again why open and charge people so much I see no point of this safari and it makes me laugh that people have rated it so high, people are clearly missing out on what a true safari should be like. I'm not one to leave bad reviews and such long ones but I was just disgusted and shocked.

Hello Augustin, Thank you for your comments. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your visit. The Park is only home to one Amur tiger, so I'm glad to hear that you saw her during your trip on the Road Safari! There is a large pride of lions living at Woburn and they are never separated from one another, so it may just be that the males were using one of the many shelters that they have access to as you drove through their enclosure. Unlike a traditional zoo where the animals are in smaller enclosures and can be viewed continually, the animals at Woburn Safari Park have the freedom to spend time where they please. Each species lives in groups of a size that are natural to them in the wild, so we don't overpopulate each group or herd. Even within the Foot Safari, the animals live within large enclosures and all of the animals have constant access to their own shelters, should they wish to rest out of sight. Like all visitor attractions, bank holiday weekends are our busiest time and we do experience an increase in the number of guests who come to the Park. Our keepers actively manage traffic to balance allowing guests to have time to watch animals with keeping cars moving to avoid delays and keep essential access points clear. Visitors are also able to do unlimited circuits of the Road Safari. I hope this goes some way to explain some of the points your review raised, and I sincerely hope that you will re-visit Woburn Safari Park again in future and take time to enjoy the many animals we have within the reserves and in the foot safari enclosures. Kind regards, Shannon (Marketing Executive)

Do not worth the money paid for the tickets because they have very few animals to see. Only one tiger, lions was not around, only lionesses. Elephant seen from a far distance but only one, parrots, I have seen only one, otters not around, only 3 penguins, wolf non. Sea lions show very poorly representation, waiting 20 minutes and a 2 payment for the show which was less than 10 minutes was not worth. Camels seen at the entrance but very far away. Food restaurants rubbish and expensive, only 2 boutique selling Ice cream, toilets dirty and not bookings for feed animals. Waste of time and money, no recommended, Bewdley safari ten times better . A girl employed was shouting at cars to move and not allowed anyone to take photos ,not to mention she was blocking everyone view with safari car and not let customers to take photos of lionesses .

Got a chance to see some of the animals for the first time, they seemed well looked after. There are a few other activities on site, wish they also had a slightly bigger play area for young people.

Dear Mathan, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review. I am sorry you felt your day out was not the excellent value for money we aim to deliver to our customers. We benchmark our prices against other local attractions, zoos and wildlife attractions as well as carefully considering value for money and the numerous activities that are free of charge as part of your ticket price. I am sorry you didn't feel there were very many animals on your trip around the 360 acres of the Safari Park and in particular in the Road Safari. We have over 80 species of animals at the park and they are given plenty of space and the freedom to roam within the parkland reserves. This means each time you complete a circuit of the Road Safari, you might see them in different areas and exhibiting different behaviours, as they would in the wild. I hope you will consider returning again in the future to see some of the animals that, by the sounds of it, you missed seeing on this visit! Kind regards, Shannon (Marketing Executive)

28.99 per person which is high expensive when you see less animals in big park and most of them hiding in the bushes very difficult to see - management need to consider on prices
