I used Leone's for a period of about 2 years for our small family owned business. Leone's went through several employees; even Hugh, the Director of Sales admitted they had high turnover rate. Not only was the turnover high of the cleaning staff, so was the turnover of the "Managers" of the cleaning staff. During the course of the two years, we had 3-4 "managers" and over a half dozen "cleaners". Because of this, no one learned to efficiently clean our building and there were constantly things/areas that were missed. Recently, a "cleaner" left our building "clean" after hours but left all the lights on in our building, floors will still dirty and the waste baskets were left on top of copiers. This was the last straw for us and I reached out to Hugh about the issue. He was decent about the issue and offered to send a "better cleaner"; I debated for a day or two and in the end decided that it was highly likely that that employee would also move on and we would be right back where we started. I requested they drop off our building keys and kindly showed them to where their supplies were kept and allowed them to pick them up (my mistake). After that, I sent an email to Hugh requesting that the second half of the months payment be refunded since the cleanings were not performed. Instead of an email or phone call back, I got a phone call from an assistant or accounting employee saying she spoke to the owner (Mr. Leone himself) and he said that the contract said they required a 30 days notice to end the contract which we did not give them therefore they would not be refunding our money. In hind sight, I should have traded them their supplies (vacuum, cleaners, buckets, etc) for the refund. They threw the contract back in our face, yet they didn't hold up their end of the bargain (which was to actually make our building clean). So here I am... writing this review.
Horrible horrible job worst ever. Management expects you to do 8-10 hours worth of work in 6. Severely understaffed because all the employees quit. Unsafe really really shady.
It's a seedy business that tramples on their employees. I know from experience and the some of the employees themselves. Don't work for this company and use them for cleaning.
Terrible company to work for. I was treated like dirt by numerous customers. In addition, they wasted my time on more than one occasion and I was rudely accused of bogus $hit, multiple times. SOME of the customers they have are crazy liars and will make $hit up about you. Overall, this place was a total waste of my time.
