Dr. Copeland is kind and knowledgeable, however the staff seems ill-equipped to provide any sort of customer service. It seems like every time I call or visit the practice, there are new employees. The first issue was last summer, I had recently moved and provided them with my new address, yet the mailed my boxes of contact lenses to my old address anyway and it was a big hassle to obtain them. Recently I ordered new contacts and lenses for my glasses. They told me they would call when they were ready, but they never called. When I finally called they told me everything had come in already. I went to pick up the contacts and get the new lenses cut into my glasses frames. They told me that they would be ready in 30 minutes. I told them I would be back in 1-2 hours. 2+ hours later I returned and was told that they had not even started yet. I realized when I got home that they had ordered the wrong brand & strength of contacts, and they told me I needed to pay an additional $50 for the correct lenses (I feel like they should be covering this as it was their error) and that I would need to bring back the incorrect lenses. I told them that I would stop by the next day (today) and drove 30 minutes to get there, only to find that the practice is closed with a handwritten sign saying that they will open at 1:00pm.

We were in great hands at Innovative Eye Care! This was our first visit and from the moment of making the appointment we were met with a welcoming vibe. Great knowledge and expertise, certainly, complimented by what seemed to be state of the art equipment for testing eye sight and the overall health of our eyes. A great selection of frames / glasses to choose from. Great prescription sun glass options, too. And a great team full of positive energy, smiles, warmth, and caring!

Edit: +1 star for giving me a refund. They were very nice at first, but don't seem equipped to handle high index lenses. The glasses they prescribed were weaker than my last pair from California (which was perfectly clear but a bit strong for close range.) My left eye was so blurry I couldn't even resolve traffic signs in mid range, so I went in for a glasses check. I was brought out of the eye chart room and told to look at a sign across the parking lot, and more power was added to my right eye. (A mirror would have allowed them to have an eye chart at an appropriate distance.) I mentioned again that it's my left eye that was blurry, she randomly added power and said to give it a try. They never got back to me. When I finally contacted them they said the lenses were ready. I went in at the scheduled time, she took a long time cutting the lenses out and putting it into my frame. Of course, the left eye is still blurry. They switched it back to the original lenses, which didn't make sense. I then waited, for almost two hours, while they actively ignored me and helped other customers, telling me to schedule another glasses check. I felt so terrible standing around, I was hugging my jacket for comfort, yet stupidly acted like I was fine and went out of my way to be nice. In the end, I finally got them to switch the lenses to the new ones again, scheduled another glasses check, and got out of there. Now my left eye is still blurry. My right eye hurts almost all the time from eye strain and I'm dizzy and nauseous from wearing these glasses. I didn't want to put my self in that situation again, and didn't go back.
