Hi David! As mentioned in our chat replies, we're sorry you weren't pleased with this most recent order as you were with other orders. Your order came through (and is on your confirmation) as "trim to bleed" which means no borders. We've analyzed the file you uploaded and it's a photo or scan of another piece of art with banding and white spots throughout the image (probably on the original), the photo is also crooked. So, you are 100% correct, you "do get what you get" because you get a print that is what you upload and order. It is as frustrating for us as it is for you when a customer makes mistakes on their order or uploads a poor quality file that is already crooked and then wants to blame the quality of the print on us and gets upset when we logically point out that the print you receive is going to look like the quality of what you upload. We also obviously do not screen our reviews as here is a one star review from you with no screening. We are a professional printer with hundreds of professional photographers and artists as clients, but they upload source images that are not photos of other images. We do wish you the best in the future and hopefully higher quality source images will result in higher quality prints.

Submitted and print, requested a bleed with obvious borders, They printed with spots that were not in the original. Crooked more than 1/2 inch side to side (34") and blamed it on me. No one does does quality control. Basically you get what you get. I recommend working with a professional printer. This is not them. Also be wary of anyone with all 5 star reviews. They obviously screen their reviews

Hi Nike, I'm so sorry you missed the various places on the site that inform customers that everything we print is carefully packaged and rolled in a tube, where you can then mount and frame as you wish. Our pricing for printing and shipping does not cover what it would cost to mount, stretch, frame and ship (flat) such a product. This info is at the very top of our canvas pages, again on the media pages, in our HELP, FAQ, and checkout routines. "Posterprintshop does not mount or frame canvases we ship our prints to you professionally rolled, so that you can mount or frame them as desired. this keeps our prices low and our turnaround fast!" "Canvas prints are an inexpensive way to turn your favorite photographs and images into museum quality works of art suitable for mounting and framing."

We ordered a Canvas print and received it unstretched. I have no need for an unstretched Canvas whatsoever, as the pricing of getting a frame far exceed what the printing in worth. When I called the shop to discuss our options, the person on the phone (I believe Brett) was rude, unsympathetic and unaccompanying. While my main issue is with the way I was treated on the phone, I think the design of the website is misleading, as it does not become clear that you are not getting a stretched Canvas, unless you read the entire website top to bottom (which I certainly did not do).

Hi Allison! We were so sorry to hear this issue occurred with your print. In checking our chat history, we offered to view your screen with you to assist with the difficulties you were having with the design tool, but didn't get a response. The tool shows a black line was drawn with the tool on the top and left side (nowhere else). The Design Tool guides are checker grids that do not print. We assumed the lines were to help you place the images, and the line is shown on your proofs and thumbnails as part of the design when you checked out. We've reached out to figure out how to do a complimentary reprint for you, but would need a new design since this one is saved with the lines on top of the images. Very disappointed. I made my own collage print of vacation photos. Their design tool was very user unfriendly. Not like Shutterfly. The only reason I tried this company is I already had a frame and wanted to do a custom size that Shutterfly couldnt accommodate. My first issue was the design tool wasnt letting me upload photos from my computer. The help desk claimed it was being blocked on my end but that didnt make sense since I was able to upload photos if I was t using the design tool part from my computer. Finally got photos uploaded with a work around. The. I carefully laid out my photos. There was a line along the top and side which I presumed was a guide to ensure that I didnt get too close to the edge for printing. Wrong indeed. It was some random line that then appeared in my print that I received. I contacted them and they said I just have added it so it wasnt their fault and their was. nothing that could be done. YeaI wanted to have a line running through my image. Thought it would be fun to wreck my print. Sure. Clearly their design tool has significant issues. It worth the trouble. Should have just bought a new standard frame and ordered through Shutterfly.
