Wonderful staff, very good instruction. They got me up riding/kiteboarding in about 6 to 9 hours of lessons, and that is standard/above-average from what I've heard (anyone who claims they can get a complete beginner riding before then is probably not telling the truth). Great introduction to the sport. I spread the lessons over a few days and I was fortunate there was good wind the whole week I was learning. After you learn and are "off the clock", the instructors (I mainly worked with David, Jeff, and Joey) will continue to give you advice and help you along..the whole sport is like that. Very encouraging. If you're thinking of taking the plunge into kiteboarding, I highly recommend these guys!!
Hi Georg, i am sorry you got some bad backrests. As for the island being closed on Sundays. They are closed to all rentals and tours (tourists). if you own your own equipment you can land. If i were to get caught with one of our kayaks on the island on Sunday it is a $1,000 fine. This goes for every rental shop on the island. This is why i explained to please not step foot on the island. I have 1 month from the time of violation to receive a citation....fingers crossed i do not.

Plus: Very friendly and patient service and helped a lot mounting the kayak onto the car. Minus: Equipment is a bit worn and back rests were a joke, offering no support. Got the wrong information that it's forbidden to set foot on any of the small islands on Sunday which turned out to be wrong - only guided tours are forbidden to land on Sunday. Had there not been dozens of people on the island, we would have had to stay on the kayak the whole time.
