Awful customer service. No replies to my emails. Go somewhere else
Hi, Thank you for your review. Our order system indicates you have only ordered a cooker hood from ourselves, not a fridge freezer. The cooker hood was delivered direct from the manufacturer and you have signed for the same product code that has been ordered. As my colleague mentioned on the phone, we have passed this to the manufacturer to investigate further. We do not sell extended warranties so we have not called regarding this. We would not process a refund until any item has been collected. We will contact you once the investigation has been completed. Regards, Alistair

Bought a fridge freezer and a cooker hood, I shouldn't have... Fridge arrived damaged. At that point they were able to deliver a new one next day, which is fair enough. The cooker hood however took 10 days to arrive, and they sent me a completely different product. When I called them they told me I had to wait another 10 day to find out if they were able to deliver me the right item this time. No thanks... I wanna cook smelly sh!t way before that! Now of course their sales adviser did call me the day after delivery to heat some pay monthly repair service on me... Refund? Hahaha, not before they collect the other product which may or may not happen within the same day. Not a single pound or voucher or anything was offered! Guys, this is one of the worst customer experience I had recently!
Im not sure why the place hasnt such bad reviews. Giving 5 stars as they deserve it! I ordered a Garmin watch online as it was a really competitive deal, I was a bit worried I hadnt received a confirmation email, so I used their live chat to speak with Gosia, who sent me a confirmation. She told me the colour I ordered was out of stock and would take around 4-6 weeks, but she suggested another colour which I was happy with which included next day delivery. She also refunded me the difference in price. Great communication, great offer and helpful staff! No complaints from me and got my watch just in time for a weekend of sports. Thanks guys!!
I run a well established award winning kitchen company Stuart Henry Kitchens Ltd. I needed a particular Carron sink urgently and my usual distributors had non in stock and could not get until middle of April 2018. I came across Appliance house on the internet and found the sink, it was in stock, so I called to make sure and it definitely was so I ordered it, I was informed it would arrive on Tuesday the next week and that I would receive email and text updates as to its delivery time and I did,. All too often companies receive bad press when things go wrong but hardly ever get good press when it goes right so congratulations to Appliance House for you truly excellent service.
Hi Marzena, Thank you for your review and I would like to reiterate what was said in our phone call this morning. I apologise for the issues youve experienced. The item was out of stock, however due to a technical issue the website stated it was in stock and available on a next working day delivery. This shouldnt have happened and I apologise for the confusion and inconvenience caused. I have now resolved the technical issue and the item is now displaying as a Special Order. The order was placed on a Sunday, when we are closed, and the Monday was a Bank Holiday. The earliest delivery date would have been Wednesday. We were out of stock of the microwave and had to order new stock from the manufacturer. We would usually receive a re-stocking date within 24 hours of ordering and we would then contact you to confirm a delivery date. Due to an issue with the manufacturers stock we were only notified of the delay this morning. I agree that we should have contacted you on Tuesday, when we were back open, and again I would like to apologise that this did not happen. The email you received contained alternative microwaves which you could swap the order too. My colleague sent the email and was due to call you to explain the alternative models when she received a phone call. As discussed earlier if you would like to leave the item on backorder we can process a 20 refund and, in order to speed up delivery, arrange for the microwave to be delivered direct from the manufacturer. Avoid this firm! I ordered an item for next day delivery. Three working days later I rang to check where the item is. I was promised a callback with confirmation. Instead of a callback I received an email saying the item is out of stock and will not be delivered for another month. Meanwhile, their website still says item is in stock available for next day delivery...
