The reason there are examination requirements by Federally Certified Examination physicians is for everyone's safety. If a driver fails a DOT physical-- there is good reason. Following FMCSA guidelines is required. Debbie was not failed but given a shortened medical certificate in order to allow her time for proper diagnostic testing of a suspected condition. Suspected conditions must be ruled out for safe commercial driving.

The absolute worse . failed me for sleep apnea , would not check my throat. I went to a another doctor ( he's not a physician) PASSED ME!! No problem.

Im sorry to understand you think I am rude. It seems you came to our office for a 2:00 appointment which didnt exist (outside our business hours). The receptionist called me and I advised her I would come to the office early to accommodate you at 2:30 (outside of normal business hours). Unfortunately you arrived almost 15 minutes late for that appointment and when asked to fill out an application-- you decided to question why payment is required, why a drug test and next you decided to start using your cell phone in the office to contact whoever and have a discussion without completing your application. Since we run on an appointment schedule only-- this to accommodate our on time people-- your tardiness, inability to follow directions and rudeness in the office left me with no alternative but to ask you to leave! My regret is coming in early to try to help you. Part of the Medical Examiners duty is to determine the mental and physical fitness of the applicant as driving a commercial vehicle whether a school bus with children or a 16 wheel tractor trailer is serious business. It is ironic that someone who is so confused and unable to follow directions has the thought that writing a bad review would deter others. Please note I have hundreds of pleased commercial drivers, so I have to value your criticism from whom it comes. If asking someone who cannot follow directions to leave is rude-- so be it. good luck

Dr. Dietrich is extremely rude and unprofessional. I walked into the wrong doctors office and I gave my name and everything, he did not care to tell me I was in the wrong doctors office! He was about to give me a DOT exam and charge me for it without my knowledge that I wasnt on his appointment list or in the wrong office. After receiving a call from my doctor and finding out I was in the wrong office before I paid the $98 fee, this rude doctor starts questioning why I am not filling out the form and aggressively grabs the clipboard from my hand. He then tells me to get out, such a cheap doctor that is willing to take advantage and trick a young woman for money. This was the most unprofessional experience I had with a doctor and he made me miss my actual appointment because he did not tell me my name wasnt on his list. No patient should get treated this way, so ridiculous and suspicious.
