Angel brought to us 5 blue polyester shirts that he wanted a logo printed onto. If you have every purchased screen print shirts you know that there is a lot of effort to print even a single shirt. That is why every shop has some type of minimum purchase to do screen printing. Sparkle Gear has a very low minimum, 20 items. Printing only 5 items is simply cost-prohibitive. We are currently offering a Back to Work special on printed t-shirts. The special includes 25 t-shirts, custom printed in one color on the front or back, no setup charges, no artwork charges, Delivery in 5 days or less. The cost of the 25 shirts is $250. That is only $10 per shirt. It is the lowest price and fastest delivery for a custom t-shirt, made and delivered in 5 days we have seen here in New England or online. This special offer and all of the details are well-advertised online and is also posted on two giant 6ft and 10ft banners (we print banners also!) as you enter our parking lot. We adapted this offer for him. Angel wanted a performance polyester wicking t-shirt, not a regular t-shirt. Polyester wicking performance t-shirts are more expensive than cotton t-shirts. The shirts that Angel wanted cost $7.50 more than the regular t-shirt, and thats the additional charge we added to the 20 shirts we were providing. The shirts Angel brought also required a little prep before working with, plus the time to press and dry the shirts. We added a $5 per shirt charge for these 5 shirts. So the total for the screen print was $375 for 25 performance wicking t-shirts. Angel left a deposit for the screen print work. On Thursday morning we started and finished converting the artwork to be print ready. And we started the pre-production process. Then we received a text message asking to add a small design to the back of the shirt. If you have purchased screen print you know that each location is a completely different setup and requires its own artwork. The simplest way to say it is that printing a back and a front is a twice as much work and material as printing just a front. We stopped the pre-production process for the shirts and started the design process for the back of the shirt. We told Angel that the additional cost to put the second design on the back of the shirt was going to be $5 per shirt. That is when he became angry with us and communicated that we were holding him up. We did our best to explain the additional work effort and the additional cost. To resolve the situation we offered 3 choices. Move forward with the job as originally agreed to and purchased ( design on the front ); We could do the front & back design on the shirts with the additional charge, OR we would refund all of the money paid for the shirts, no amounts deducted for the work we had already done. Angel accepted the refund option. On Friday, July 24th, the apparel, and the refund amount were picked up at the store. Linda was the person who handed off these items. She asked the person picking up the items to sign a copy of the invoice, and a copy of the credit memo documenting the cash refund. That was the extent of her involvement with this project. We are truly sorry that Angel is upset, we feel that we did everything that we could reasonably do to accommodate him. The reward I promised We expect to run the t-shirt special mentioned above through the end of September. Terrible customer service from Linda, being a Hispanic male paying for over 400 dollar order you think they would be more courteous and made feel more welcomed then a bother. Order canceled and will not recommend this place to no one especially for shirt pricing.

Fabulous customer service. Took my vague request (something beachy on a bag) and turned it into a wonderful design that I get tons of compliments on. I have bought hats, shirts, bags, scarves and more from them and always find them friendly and helpful and willing to work with me to get exactly the design I want.
