They dont call when there is a problem with your prescription. You have to call back wondering why it hasnt arrived. Ive been out of a needed medication for 4 days now. Probably a few more since delivery after they actually fill the rx is 7-10 days. There is no auto-fill. Im considering switching back to a regular pharmacy even though this one is much cheaper with my insurance.

My husband who just started using this company's Medicine doesn't work. Before he use a local pharmacy and his blood pressure remained stable. Since he used this pharmacy his blood pressure, which he logs daily has risen to alarming numbers. 160/110. He is using Amlodipine 10mg and I fear for his life. I fear he has recieved placebos from this pharmacy, with no way of finding out.

I have had good customer service from Novixus pharmacy. If there any problems with a prescription they fix it right away. I am just glad I don't have to deal with Walmart's pharmacy anymore.

Lois, Sorry that this is more work for you. In an effort to stop prescription abuse or flagrant charging of a patient we like to verify that a prescription is needed by the patient, prior to filling and billing. Most doctors are good at informing patients that they are sending a prescription but that is not always the case. The government requires this for Medicare and Medicaid and we think it is the right approach. Do you feel this was communicated effectively to you prior, or do you think this could have been explained better? Service requires that, before they send you medication called in by your doctor, you must call them to confirm. Seems like a lot of extra work for the patient as the doctor would only call in a prescription if you asked them to. Never had a service ask for this extra step before.
