This review dates back to 2021, I was referred to this place by my eye doctor for what was originally said to be scar tissue from past surgeries The 1st doctor I never even saw, I saw a PA who in turn asked me questions, and had me read an eye chart. She then left to speak with doctor, upon returning she said "we can't do this procedure here, it's going to require a "sleepy-snoozy" thing. So at this point I was referred to another doctor ,a pediatric eye surgeon, this appointment occurred a few months later, the same thing happened here, more questions and eye measurements, and a eye chart reading .It was at this point what I had was diagnosed as an occular cyst. I was then referred to yet another doctor who wanted me to have an MRI, that was set for April. .I had the MRI, and went to see the 3rd doctor, I was in his office for no more than10 minutes, he then said nothing can be done, if we operate it could make it worse, we could drain it, but it would fill back up.I should also mention he did not have a copy of the MRI ,that he wanted me to have. He wanted me to return in September, to see how it's progressed. I received a phone call from this office a days later, they wanted me to get a copy of the MRI, because they " couldn't get ahold of the right people "I ended up canceling the appointment in September in part to 2 reasons,my husband couldn't drive me there because his days off switched at work , 2nd reason being I had enough of repeated visits., with absolutely nothing being done, and repeated referrals..This office was located in North Carolina, I live in South Carolina, so it was an 1 1/2 hours EACH WAYwith absolutely nothing being done! The problem is getting worse to this day. I would never go back to this facility because obviously all they do is send you from one doctor to the next with no answers and no help.

I'm sure they are competent at what they do, but the waiting time is horrible. Hours and hours. My daughter calls this place the waiting place. She won't come back.

My husband got his cataracts done here everything worked out great from the hospital to the surgeon to the follow-up care above aplus above ten stars my husband also had a procedure to eliminate pressure in the eye from glaucoma no more drops extraordinary care from all

It was my daughters first visit there and they were simply amazing! Very welcoming and friendly staff. My whole family will now be going to Wilmington eye. Overall, great experience and couldnt ask for any better.

Our appointment was scheduled for 0810. We arrived at 0750. The time is currently 0914. Eyes have been dilated. Still not seen the doc. She just walked in. 0915. 0921 we are checking out. Another quality visit.
