I am a one-person business and sorry if I didn't call you back timely, as I was battling illness all week.

Everything I read was higher than the the highest mark I could give. I believe them from what I read to be top line breeder. I work in a busyness that if you dont call people back they more on to next and theres goes that sale and future with others. I Know thats theres different from lumber sales to puppies but same principle to me. Best wishes.
I had been watching for a few months, texting Karen off and on and then she posted the most beautiful fur baby in February. A small, mahogany red, black muzzle male named "ying ling" was on the webpage. I had wanted a female, many reviews, owner posts and even Karen had said that you would not be sorry with a Glory Ridge boy. I fell in love at first sight with this little guy and immediately contacted Karen to see if he was actually available. Well, I did ask hubby first. Karen sent almost weekly updates and photos, boy those were long weeks until we could pick him up on Easter weekend. Charley is the sweetest little guy, he just bounces all over the house. He has already made friends with Ruby, (our 11 year old Bichon - tzu mix) and Bella, (our 10 year old shih tzu.) Ruby and Charley take turns chasing each other and rough housing as pups do, which is funny, him being 2.7lbs and Ruby 15lbs. Bella is still a bit standoffish, but she is becoming more herself each day. It was great being able to pick up Charley and meet Karen in person. I think she is a breeder of the highest quality from beginning to end. We got a care package in a folder with our new pups health history, a bag of his food and a darling blanket to go home with him. Little Charley already has us wrapped around his little paw! Thank you Karen and Glory Ridge for our addition to our fur family!
Thanks for the review, Josh. I am sorry you got jammed with a dog that was a heart break from another breeder. Take care, Karen

Hands down best shih tzu breeder ever. We got our first dog from Karen in the late 80s (Macy). She lived for 17 year and completely healthy for 16 of that. We then picked up our second shih tzu from Karen in 2017 and Lucy is amazing. Follow her instructions and your pup will be amazing. Note: I learned the hard way about bad genetics. We had a dog in between Macy and Lucy that wasnt from Glory Ridge. She died after 8 short years and it was sad and expensive to endure. I do not advise this path.
This person has had no dealings with Glory Ridge Shih-Tzu.
