I recently had the pleasure of working with MP Consulting for the construction of our custom home in Rumson, NJ. Over the course of the one year we worked together, the firm demonstrated strong project management, and communication skills. These skills, coupled with years of hands-on experience in the residential construction industry and constant positive attitude made MP Consulting the most valuable asset of our development. Upon contract award, MP Consulting produced a detailed and complete CPM project schedule with over 40+ linked activities showing an 11-month duration. We broke ground on the foundation in early December and endured freezing temperatures as well as significant snowfall. As a result we suffered a 3 week delay in the first two months. However, MP Consulting was still able to deliver final TCO one week ahead of the original completion date. The firm was able to achieve this with their excellent communication skills and planning with the various subcontractors. The day after the basement footings were placed, the steel columns and beams were erected. The next day after that the framers were there running out the deck. This level of subcontractor coordination continued throughout the entire project, there was never a day when the site was empty for 11 months. Typically, there would be 2-5 different trades working with 5-25 workers on site. No one stepped on each others toes and no finished work was ever damaged or installed incorrectly as a result of the hands on management approach MP Consulting takes. The above schedule linked all the activities to 25+ line AIA payment requisition prepared from the 40+ page detailed project budget that was agreed upon during contract award. This all was very valuable for us to plan out our cash flow over the course of the project. There were no cost overruns and any change orders were a result of our requests, not from surprises or estimating errors. I have had experience building residential projects with other contractors both as a home owner and developer and have found this to be extremely rare in the industry. Aside from having strong project management skills, MP Consultings work ethic and positive attitude were second to none. Their Project Manager regularly worked past 5pm and before inspections, subcontractor milestone dates, and during TCO time would work past 10pm. The Project Manager and Principal always answered my calls or returned them within an hour and was able to promptly address all of our questions or concerns. Aside from all of the above professional skills, all of MP Consultings employees I encountered were personable, friendly, and overall good-guys. My wife and I feel extremely fortunate to have had the pleasure of working with MP Consulting on our home.

Our property is in Lavallette, NJ, and we took a chance when we went with MPC Builders -- but we have never looked back!! Mike gave us a beautiful finished home -- on time and within budget. His expertise in the industry is top-notch, and his professionalism and availability/approachability made it a pleasure to work with him and his team. All materials used in the construction project were above industry-standard, and his subs were experienced and accomplished. The "proof is in the pudding." Our home is beautiful and beyond expectation. We would recommend MPC builders without hesitation.

We used MPC to build our home in Point Pleasant and couldnt have been happier. We met with 2 other builders and although their quote was higher, its because MPC got all the details the way we wanted, up front. There was no low balling to get us in the door. In the end we came in under budget for the estimate and he finished in a little more than 5 months. Mike and his team were amazingly responsive, dealt quickly with the changes we had, and we only failed one inspection and that was because I forgot to put the house numbers where MPC told me to. They were fantastic all the way through and we have referred others to them and they have been just as happy.

On time and on budget! If you can say this about your builder, they are the exception. Mike and his crew are exactly that exception. He did not charge us a dime over what was promised in the contract and we were in our house as planned. The quality of work is impeccable and Mike was always available for questions and suggestions. His vast knowledge and experience is clearly demonstrated in his work. I wholeheartedly recommend Mike and his team.
