No pumpkin patch this year. Parking is always terrible. Carousel closed. Petting zoo closed. Playground closed. Splash pad closed.

Love the Houston zoo, I am a member and go quite often, with a membership you just walk right in. This time I wanted to concentrate my time in the newer section that covers the Texas Gulf Coast region. I got some nice pictures of the whooping crane and the bald eagles.

Incredible zoo. Lots of shade in walkways. Very stroller friendly. They allow you to bring in your own food and drinks. Great lunch table set ups all over the park. Free to park and near another gorgeous park in Houston. I was very impressed with all they had to offer. Memberships are a great price!

Zoo was presented well, just seemed like exhibits were sparse and lacking animals. At $100 for four of us to get in I was a little disappointed from the last time I was there.
