Do not service your car here. Keep in mind most of the positive reviews here are about car sales - folks excited about the new purchase. Take your car elsewhere for service. Another dealer or mechanic. This particular one is awful. We all realize pricing is always higher at the dealership and you expect premium service and a knowledgeable team for the premium cost. That is absolutely not the case here. I was charged for services I never requested. I paid for the same diagnostic multiple times and still have the same issues. Follow up was extremely poor. Ill have an advisor or manager call you results in me following up on my own. I even reached out to the service manager and GM. Nothing. Radio silence. The crazy thing is Im not one to air my grievances - but this time is different - being taken advantage of is not ok. I simply want to do my part sharing the story and hopefully the money, time and terrible experience taken from me - is something you can avoid.
Your relatives did bring in their 2013 F150 with 115k miles to Purvis Ford Monday for the repair. As they said they were short on vehicles, we moved them up in line to get the truck back to them as fast as possible. The repair is covered under a Ford warranty extension and does not cover a loaner car unless the part is on backorder. We can not just charge a rental to a warranty company without following their guidelines as the warranty company will not pay for a rental without authorization. The part was in stock, however, the delay was due to a previous service station repair that had glued the gasket when reinstalling the transmission pan, which caused the gasket to tear when we removed the pan. We were able to find the right gasket and the repair is being completed as I respond to this review. Your relatives arrived to the service department to retrieve their papers at lunch time and the mechanics were at lunch. Our service porter did take them back to the service bay and assisted them in getting their paperwork.

My sister-in-law and fiance recently moved to the area and had a problem with their Ford f-150. They took it to Purvis on a Monday. We live way out at lake Anna and they weren't offered a loaner car even though they had a warranty that would cover one of the party needed was back ordered. It's Wednesday and still waiting for part to arrive. I don't think it's any skin off of the service technician to have offered a loaner and charged it to the warranty company. We have been running each other around and around with our limited vehicles. Then today we needed some important papers th were left in the truck. The service tech told them to wait. Come to find out they all went to lunch! We had to find the truck ourselves and ask for it to be taken down off the lift. What a mess!!! We won't be coming back. Well go to Stafford next time.

We were headed to Florida when we developed a egr coolant leak. We went to the service department at Purvis Ford. They are open late, and they took us right in. They brought a mechanic up front to check. He found the leak right away. They happened to have the part in stock. The mechanic and the service writer both worked on the truck to get us back on the road! I was impressed with the customer service and their dedication to do whatever necessary to get us back on the road. Very grateful in the chaos, did not get their names. Thank you!!
The only place in Fredericksburg where youll drop your vehicle off at 10am and wont get it back for a couple days! TRASHHHHHHHH
